Israeli-Indian Barak-8 missile successfully test fired in Israel :: Watch Video

where did you get this indormation?
Barak 8 features a dual pulse rocket motor as well as Thrust vector control,[22] and possesses high degrees of maneuverability at target interception range. A second motor is fired during the terminal phase, at which stage the active radar seeker is activated to home in on to the enemy track.
At this stage, the missile's speed increase drastically, allowing better interception of the target

What is the cost per missile.? Not the developing cost, but manufacturing cost.. If you could compare it with cost of SAMs around the world, it will be a favour..Thanks in advance

For now potential users of Barak 8 (Including India and Israel) are Germany, Azerbaijan, Poland and Chile.
According to various sources, deals with germany and azerbaijan will be signed in the near future

In october 2014, a succesful missile test was conducted against yakhont-like missile (Brahmos). The missile was launched from the ground toward the mediterranean and intercepted successfully the missile while all the missile's components worked as expected

im not sure how much its true

Each system cost around 1200 crore( ~180 million) which includes, 32 ready to fire Barak-8, AESA radar, other sub systems like mission computers and such etc...may be few Barak-8s in reserve too.

Enough to say about its capabilities.

How is this Israeli-Indian Barak and not Israeli Barak? what did india contribute technically in development of this missile system?

The joint Israeli-Indian Barak-8 missile system completed another successful test on Thursday, successfully eliminating an enemy target.

The Barak 8, an upgraded version of the Barak system both countries already use, is designed to defend naval vessels against incoming missiles, planes and drones.

Designed to defend against a variety of short-to-long-range airborne threats - including fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, drones and projectiles - Barak-8 incorporates a state-of-the-art phased array multi-mission radar, two-way data link, and a flexible command and control system, enabling users to simultaneously engage multiple targets day and night and in all weather conditions, according to IAI.

The Barak-8 is part of next-generation defenses currently being installed on Israeli Navy ships to protect them from threats that include Russian-made Yakhont surface-to-sea missiles reportedly in the possession of Lebanese Shi'ite militia Hezbollah. To date, the system has racked up "significant sales" to customers around the world, IAI said.

The former commander of Israel's Navy Missile Boats Flotilla (Shayetet 3), Col. Eyal Harel told the Israeli news site Ynet that Israel knows how do deal with the threats posed by the Yakhont.

"We introduced the new Adir radar system, which provides wide-scope coverage and detection, and soon we will introduce the Barak 8 surface-to-air missiles that will improve our defense capabilities, like a naval Iron Dome,"he said adding that "even now we can already deal with the Yakhont with the tools at our disposal. But we should take the Yakhont very seriously; it's not a toothless threat. If this thing is launched and hits - that would be bad,"

Other partners in the project include ELTA Systems Ltd., an IAI subsidiary which develops the radar, Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, which produces the interceptor missile, and other defense firms.

Dr. Avinash Chander, Head of DRDO and Scientific adviser to the Indian defense minister, said that "this is an important milestone in the cooperation between India and Israel and in the development of the Barak-8 advanced air defense system."
