I don't know about that.

I'm from Hong Kong, I don't think I could survive without a proper toilet.

Even same situation with me, if we talk about Toilets on personal level. But CD, if some people are poor, and Goi is doing efforts to remove it, so whats wrong in it?

Sewege system in some areas are not properly functional.. but its just because of Local goverment officers ' inefficiancy.

Problem in India is uneven prosperity. So people from backward areas stream in to the cities and most of cases occupy government land illegaly. Politicians keep eye closed and use these people as vote banks. Naturally in these slums you can not expect proper amenities. Government is trying to shift these population slowly to apartments for poors...Government is about to invest $20 bn for urban reconstruction in 7 years. for more information search for-
