Accept the two-state solution and you will gain a lot from normalization with all your Arab neighbors and the entire Arab world. Imagine would we could do if we cooperated again?

It's 60%. It don't matter if it's not recognised, it's got a small population and with the financial help from mainland they are living a good life.

Our rich go there and spend their money in casinos there so it's a win win.

You are right. However you made it sound like Turkey was in control of Cyprus when that is not the case. Nor do I think it is realistic to talk about Israel invading Cyprus. Nobody would support that or accept it.

Yes, I have been to Cyprus ages ago when a small child. Nicosia and Limassol.

You just broke his heart.

Not at all. Most Israelis here on this forum support normalization with Arabs and talk about it openly. Besides it is unclear if that person is even an Israeli.

@DavidSling @500 @jewishm

Most Arabs will tell you the same in person and not when under peer pressure. In certain circles and among the older generation, especially Palestinian, Egyptian, Lebanese and Syrian, talking about normalization is a taboo but the younger generation does not share the same opinion. They are anti-Israel policy and are anti-Israel as long as a two-state solution has not occurred, whicH I agree with, but they do not hate Israelis for being Israelis and there is much more contact today (due to social media mainly) than 30 years ago when the only contact that was, was through state media or whenever Israeli Jews originally from the Arab world visited their ancestral lands and often they did it in secret. Most of the contact occurred in the West actually and in the same west Arab and Jewish organizations cooperate and are on the same page whenever halal/kosher is questioned or circumcision or there is a rise in anti-minority/religion sentiments. My personal doctor for quite some years here in Europe (while finishing my studies in 2-3 different European countries, thanks to exchange programs) has been a Jewish woman originally from Syria. Not a bad thing to say and we have even discussed politics together despite her being 2.5 times my age. From a geopolitical and common sense perspective, this hostility, once the two-state solution becomes a reality, would be completely fruitless. Personally I have never been anti-Jewish unlike many users here. I disagree strongly with Zionism as practiced by the Israeli state today, especially towards Palestinians, but that's a totally different discussion. It has nothing to do with Jews as 2/3's of all Israeli Jews are originally from the Arab world and we used to live together without much trouble for millennia. This conflict is a new thing.

I think he is he had like 5 other accounts that got banned.
In fact now that i think about it he is probably the same guy like popeye turbo and all the other accounts posting in same style years ago, this means he had at least a dozen accounts.

Do you know your limits ? Take it if you can.
Most Greek Cypriots believe that they are Arabs, genetics may be.

Funny that you mention it Hurshid. Cypriots are indeed closely related to Arabs and something that also surprised me is that they eat hummus too. Anyway Arabs settled Cyprus during the early Islamic era but probably only a limited number. Anyway geographically speaking Cyprus is closer to Syria and Lebanon than it is to Greece.

Here is a problems, those who are driving force behind Israeli politics haven't forgot about khyber and for them life of an Arab holds less value then an insect.

A radical minority. I just don't like this falsification of history. Arabs and Jews have lived side by side since time immortal and are cousins and throughout much of history (real history) the ties have been cordial to say the least.

Over 2000 years ago the mother of King Herod the Great (one of the most famous Jewish kings and considered the builder of Al-Quds/Jerusalem) was an Nabatean (Arab) princess from neighboring Hijaz.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herod_the_Great

Even during the Islamic period from Al-Andalus to the Arab heartlands, we cooperated. This strong anti-Jewish sentiment is mostly a Christian and European thing, first propagandized by Romans. Prophet Muhammad (saws) himself had dealings with the Jews of Arabia. So why can we not do that once again after already having dealing with Jews for 97% of the past 1400 years of Islamic history?

Also have in mind that 2/3 of all Israeli's are Arab Jews, meaning Jews from Arab lands. They are genetically identical to their Muslim, Christian, Atheist, Flying Spaghetti Monster brethren. Expect for religion, a fellow Semitic Abrahamic religion that is closer to Islam than any other religion. We share much in common and rather than ignoring that or keep having hostile ties for another 70 years, we should work towards peace if a two-state solution materializes. This, contrary to propaganda, is what both Jews and Arabs want in particular Israelis and Palestinians who are the one that are at conflict first and foremost.

Radicals who hate the other party due to his race/religion alone are on both sides. However that should not prevent the normal people and the majority, to work towards that goal.

Not only that, Arab and Jewish cooperation could once again lead to many positive things. That is undeniable.

I have no shame in saying what I have written in this thread. Nowhere in my religion or culture does it state that I must hate Jews for being Jews. I can, as I do currently, dislike Israeli policy towards Palestine and Palestinians (which I openly do as I have done 1000's of times on PDF and other platforms and most importantly in person) but that does not mean that I shall hate all Jews or Israelis, 21% of which, Israelis that is, are fellow Arabs.

I am the kind of person that tends to study history and ook at the future and not have a short-sighted view that is based on 70 years of history when almost 40 times that number of years, another history proves what I have written and gives hope for an end to this conflict. If people have a problem with that it is not my problem and I will refer them to some history books and encourage them to use common logic. Especially in times like that where we have enough of problems.

Money, manpower, talent. None would be a problem. We are cousins and closer to each other than we would like to admit. Our leaders should solve this issue once and for all. Jews/Israel has never hurt like 90% of all Arab countries. We gain nothing from this nonsense. 20% of your population is Palestinian Arab and 2/3 of all Israeli Jews are Arab Jews or partially Arab Jews. Why the hell shall I hate an Yemeni Jew or Iraqi Jew that is a Israeli today when we share everything other than religion which is moreover is a fellow Semitic Abrahamic religion and closer than any other religion?

I am 100% supportive of normalizations with Israel and even an alliance once the political mess has been solved.
you can do it without finish the palastine problem you know your leaders dont care about them its not areason
arabs less then 20%
Druze arent arabs
