Seems you have problems with reading comprehension. Arabs captured Spain. Then native people came and took it back from the Arabs.
Same happaned here: Arabs captured Israel then native people (Jews) returned and took it back.

Hamas is deliberately targeting civilians. Israel on the other hand spends effort to avoid civilian casualties when Hamas use them as human shields.

Hamas did not stop anything. Suicide attacks were stopped because all Hamas operatives in West Bank were either killed or arrested + secutity fence. Also instead of suicide attacks they started firing rockets at civilian population which is also a terror attack.
