Once again Israel violates sovereignty of Syrian nation and launches multiple attacks on Syrian capital in Damascus. Some are saying the attack was on the airport. This warmongering country is always seeking war. Israeli's are a violent/extremist peoples that want to murder everyone in the region.

Syrian state television said on Sunday that Israeli jets had bombed areas near Damascusinternational airport and in the town of Dimas, near the border with Lebanon.

It said there were no casualties. Residents in Damascussaid they heard loud explosions. Lebanon's Hezbollah-run al-Manar television said Israeli jets bombed areas near Dimas airport.

According to foreign reports the attack reportedly targeted a warehouse of advanced S-300 missiles.

The IDF does not comment on such operations.

Who do they think they are? I am not pro-regime, people here know that. However, I support justice, and this is a clear violation of Syria's sovereignty. Especially targeting recently shipped defensive weapons. This is simply not acceptable. Russia needs to provide some resources to defend these missile systems which you never know, the strike may have been coordinated/ordered by US and allies to prepare for regime change in Syria.

This was an attack against Damascus airport which is under Assad control. Hazzy, you need to wake up. Every Israeli airstrike against Syria has been against regime targets.

The airstrikes targeted “civilian areas in the suburbs of Dimas and near the Syrian capital’s international airport,” SANA state news agency reported, citing a government source. The report called the attack “an aggression against Syria.”

The town of Dimas is located northwest of Damascus near the border with Lebanon.

There has been no immediate comment from Israeli officials.

Israeli Air Force carried out several airstrikes on the Syrian territory since the beginning of the civil war there. The Israelis had targeted what they claimed were sophisticated weapons systems destined for Damascus’ ally – Hezbollah militant group in Lebanon.
