Israeli army injures 189 Palestinians at Gaza border on Friday

GAZA, August 24, 2018 (WAFA) – At least 189 Palestinians were injured by live bullets or sustained suffocation from teargas inhalation on Friday as Israeli forces attacked the Great March of Return protests at Gaza-Israel border, according to the Ministry of Health.

The forces fired live bullets and rubber-coated steel rounds at the protesters who gathered at many encampments along the border, injuring 189 protesters, 50 of them by gunfire.

Some of the wounded were moved to hospital and others were treated in the field hospitals.

More than 171 Palestinians have been killed and 17,500 others injured since the outbreak of the Gaza border protests on March 30. The protests call for ending the 12-year-long Israeli blockade of Gaza and for the right of return of the refugees.

Most of the casualties occurred on May 14 when Israeli forces attacked Palestinian protesters marking the 70th anniversary of Israel’s occupation of historical Palestine and the ensuing ethnic cleansing of half a million Palestinian refugees.

We know Israeli soldiers are well trained and well accurate , but I think you should use water tanks to disperse protestors or maximum you use rubber bullets. They don't protest with guns & bullets. They are civilian, some with stones. This is not good.

They are certainly not our civilians. And when talking about Gaza, which has no recognized army, even terrorists with suicide belts and RPGs are "civilians".

When any of these cross the border and approach the fence they are hostile trespassers - intruders from an enemy territory.

Yes we know They also fires rockets, but due to Irom dome system Israeli civilians are safe. Palestinian should not fire rocket first. U.N should also take action against Gaza terrorist. But why not make schools there in Gaza and teach them western modern education before they carry rocket or stones, if Israel can't, allow international humatarian aid so that they get Modern education instead of stone age mentality & stone age classes.

Gaza is not Israel, so it is not our duty to provide them with proper education, healthcare, jobs, and money. Israel can re-occupy Gaza, but then what? We don't need another million of stone age mentality people who hate us. Egypt can take Gaza, but I guess they won't.

Then destroy Hamas We support you . Need big military operation in Palestine against hamas. They are teaching wrong to their kids. Palestinian should use aid for food, schools with modern education, they should use aid for benefit of people instead of making tunnels & rockets. I don't think Israel has capability to demolish Hamas terrorists. Get international support if required and destroy those stone age Hamas terrorist.
