Israel test-launches 'Arrow 3' ballistic missile interceptor

Before we jump the gun , do u even know what height war head separation occurs? A 100 or 200 km missile is not going to cut it...

Besides they are testing it against sparrow missile; which mimicks trajectory of scud a b c and shahab 1 missiles...
These are fairly basic missiles; which are non separating and predictable ballistic trajectories...
If u can know the difference

It is not mandatory to intercept after warhead separation. The current defense method is to intercept after the missile's or warhead's point of descent, meaning when the missile or warhead begins its downward arc. At this point, the missile or warhead could produce decoys or countermeasures or slight maneuverings to make it difficult for the defense. The better method is intercept before this point. The best method is to intercept the missile when it is ascending.

What is the maximum range for any radar to look upwards towards the space??

Someone get me the specs.... I bet they are exactly the same as SM3 (maybe even better. Why? Guess). :D

Soon you'll find the same missile under the label "Made in Israel" in India and other likeminded nations that the State Department ITSELF wants to skirt ITSELF..... :P

I don't remember where I read it, probably some israeli website, but according to them the SM3 didn't met up Israeli demands and therefore they continued with the Arrow program.
"Initial work was done to adapt SM-3 for land deployment ("Aegis ashore") to especially accommodate the Israelis, but they then chose to pursue their own system, the NATO code-name Arrow 3." wikipedia

U think mirv missiles will be obsolete with space intercept?
Nothing gives 100% protection.

Range is same to range in atmosphere.

Although Arrow-3 and SM-3 have similar function, their construction is very different:
