It may be more correct to evaluate this issue through Israel-Russia relations. I don't know why nobody reminds that but, Russia adopted harsh diplomatic stance against Israel recently, because of Israel's direct threats via Iranian assets on Syria.

There was a time that Syria claimed it shot down Israeli jets, like 10 in total, claiming that they shot down 1 F-35. Of course that's bullshit. Syrian air defense doesn't shoot down any incoming missile either.

Israel will act regardless of Russian opinion. Russia doesn't really care about Israel striking Iranian targets, they're more mad about Israel striking Syrian targets.
