From personal observation (could be wrong)... the Sri Lankans have more sharper features than Bangalis...and they are taller too.

Sinhalese are found to be an admixture of Bengali, Gujarati, South Indian and north West Indian.. So i think there are slight facial and physical differences

Nope.. Though you might get sub zero temperatures occasionally in the central highlands.. It's quite closer to the equator so no snow bro atmost you get frost or hail
