I think most Indians in their self-righteousness forgot that Pakistanis only mention 'Indian Muslims' and their appalling conditions as enunciated by the Sachar Committee report amidst numerous others, ONLY when Pakistan's internal dynamics are commented on by Indians just to score brownie points. Otherwise frankly most of us don't care nor have we ever cared if you elevate Indian Muslims to the status of some messianic figure or nail them to the cross.

So far as China is concerned; its their internal dynamics and yet even still half of the things talked about in the blog are suspect.

The restrictions were talked about in depth by Muslim Chinese here on this forum like @Hu Songshan and anyone with even a iota of self-respect can google 'the Hui Muslims' to watch a couple of documentaries on them to see women with scarves, men with beards and everything as Islamic as they get in their cultural practices. So whereas one could say that perhaps counter-terrorism strategies adopted in Xinjiang may have gone overboard (and that happens everywhere) but to say that the Chinese Government has a vendetta against Muslims is to be ignorant of the facts. The mostly glaring one being that Hui Muslim - the largest Muslim ethnic group in China - aren't facing any restrictions ! If you don't believe just see some of the documentaries available on them on Youtube.

Lastly in your zealousness to score one up against Pakistan remember that this is just a blog....!
