I guess it must be the nice warm Mediterranean weather, attractive beaches and cheap air fares that appeal the Brits.

About 100 a year. In 2013 90 went back. Ten stayed behind in Pakistan. Courtesy of terrorists spreading Islam by force.

Okay. Pakistan is full of tourists - invisible tourists. Tourists are pouring in but most airlines avoid Pakistan like dracula avoids light.

Send them back alive. Send them back without reverting them. Okay.

We are already back to Sweden, alive and with a stronger desire to return for a longer time and in better season. Reverting, well that's their personal choice and I won't stop them either especially if they like Islam but I don't try either, not even I initiate any religious discussion until and unless I'm asked or provoked.

However, not-related to them, two Swedish girls reverted to Islam recently in my area, though I didn't play any role since I didn't even know them, and we shared the same cow for Eid-ul-Adha.

Yeah but France, Italy and Greece are also warm/sunny countries. There must be another reason.

Perhaps it is cheaper and rules are more relaxed or ignored by police especially in summer.

Pakistan gets its fair share of foreign tourists though they are not as much as India Gets. India has made it easy for people to visit . One of it is providing e-visa for Tourists from 180 countries . Whereas to visit Pakistan you need to wait for weeks to get a visa . As for numbers according to world bank it was around a million in 2012 , With security drastically improved I expect the numbers to climb this year

India changed visa policiy only recently, and even before that India saw much higher number of tourists compared to pakistan... there is simply no comparison... rajasthan, goa and kerala are on international tourist map... the only place pakistan might trump is adventure tourism.
The main issue is real/perceived security situation in pakistan, in spite of all the noise about rape and other crimes, India is very secure place to visit... people just go back and relay it to their friends/families and it continues.
Also pakistan has no known USP...

Seems odd. Would have expected Lahore and Karachi to rank much higher if it was mostly down to overseas Pakistanis.

It can't just be overseas Pakistani's because Mumbai and Delhi are ranked lower than Islamabad, Cities with much bigger population.

In the last 7 years, almost States and even regions now have their own international airports.
More developed States have multiple international airports as well. And since every region is doing quite well economically, every major area is connected directly to international hubs like London, New York, etc.

So anyone coming to India now no longer lands at Delhi or Mumbai if s/he wants to go to a different State. This was not the case 7 years back. Traffic is quite distributed now.

Dear Muhammad you and me know very well that India is one of the largest tourists attraction like

1. Rain forest for adventure tourism
2. Many wild animals like Tigers,Elephants,Lions can be seen in the forest itself
3. Deserts like Rajasthan attracts lot of tourists with camel,elephant ride and palaces etc
4. India is having wide range of waterfall from monster to small in large numbers
5. One of the seven wonders are also in India
6. Monster ancient giant temples made full of rocks also find in large and goras are much fond of it
7. Backwater tourism lake lakes attracts tourists in large number
8. India have many tea estate and there are lot of people passion to see a tea estate which they never seen in life
9. India also attracts lot of medical tourists and people even from US coming to India for treatment
10. India is having approx 7500 Kms of coastal line and so many beautiful beaches which attract tourists
11. Also large number of 5 star hotels available in many parts for proper accomodation
12. Even rail metros are also attraction for some.
and the list goes on.....

Unfortunately pakistan choosen the wrong path of supporting dawood,hafiz saed etc, which itself damage the reputation of the country.It is always non resident pakistani's are paying the price, as they find difficult to get visa on many countries and if get, then have to gone through lengthy formalities.
