An Islamabad court on Tuesday extended the physical remand of PTI Senator Azam Swati for four days till December 3.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested Swati over the weekend on Sunday — the second time in less than two months — over strongly worded tweets against senior military officials.

This is the same guy who praises enemy country India.

That is a more than two year old story, and besides the event of this year have been a paradigm shift, making that proposed legislation untenable.

Read your comment again and tell me it makes sense.

The biggest trouble with pti supporters is our own locally Inherited mentality of absolute zero self reflection and what you said is an example of that.

Where is harami bandyal ? Us badway na aik he somoto lia tha aor kom ko loday laga gia kanjar
jis kam ke pesy pakry wo ker diya ajkal wohi pesy ura raha hai.mazy ki baat hai ab mulk ki mother sister ho gai uth hi nhi raha .

There is no need of police remand to investigate tweets and speech.
Prepare a case and prosecute in court.
This is extra judicial punishment for daring to insult and bad mouthing the gross misconduct of a traitor general.

Please elaborate. PTI, upon reflection, should never propose such a legislation. They should have learned their lesson after the event of this year. What was wrong in saying that?

One way to make this law untenable would be to get 1m Pak people to tweet what Swathi did. But highly unlikely to happen, thats just a pipe dream :)

While no FIR, no arrest, no ISPR's emergency press conference, nothing on this open threat to the institution "dogs" (NOT individual) and allegation of "barking" on the institution (NOT individual)

Really worried for Azam Swati.

How spectacularly our Supreme Court died under the fear of a Major General! not just the army, the judiciary also stand exposed as result of this regime change. 7 months of worst human rights abuses that are still going on but not a single notice by the Supreme Court. Mr Swati protested for days outside Supreme Court.

With the way things are, the army can get away with murder. With Mr. Swati being moved to Quetta, far away from rest of Pakistan, its time to fear the worst.

With the change of command, there is no respite in army's repressive use of force against its own civilians. Such cowards as*holes!
