I think there will be a huge problem once it goes there from the Royals and the people but I think in the end it will turn into a constitutional monarchy in time. We do not want a revolution we want an evolution. But until then the way things are going are in the positive direction why risk it with a revolution? This is mainly why there is no "Arab Spring" in Saudi Arabia.

Plus there is the tribel dynamics to consider in Saudi. Well there is this trend all over the world. Prosperity leads to slower population growth (even negative). Poor countries reproduce more. China is an exception due to one-child policy.

Western media only reports the number of conversions to Islam, it doesn't report the statistics of people leaving Islam. Here the objective is to picture Islam as a bogey man that is eating into our culture but not providing right statistics to their viewers. I have a couple of friends who used to be muslim, now they are closet agnostic/atheist and their family members don't know about their religious views.
