http://edition.cnn.com/2016/01/17/world/christian-persecution-2015/Last year was the most violent for Christians in modern history, rising to "a level akin to ethnic cleansing," according to a new report by Open Doors USA, a watchdog group that advocates for Christians. In total, the survey found that more than 7,100 Christians were killed in 2015 for "faith-related reasons," up 3,000 from the previous year, according to the group's analysis of media reports and other public information as well as external experts.
According to the report, however, much of the persecution faced by Christians occurs in predominantly Muslim nations, many of which are "failed states" that fail to protect any of their citizens' religious liberty.
The presence of Islamic extremist factions across the world in 2015 brought religious persecution for not only Christians, but also Muslims, Yazidis and other religious minorities, the report found. Notably, Iraq (No. 2) and Syria (No. 5) are the epicenter of ISIS' so called "caliphate," while Afghanistan (4), Pakistan (6), Iran (9) and Libya (10) all have elements of Islamic extremism.
Countries such as Saudi Arabia and India are key global partners for the United States, yet Open Doors ranks both in its top 50 of persecutors of Christians.
Good thing europe finally takes off the political correctness gloves. Of course entire europe is no place for this. And its time this starts. Since the far right marches forward its also good to push this freedom of religion under the bus. What is it good? The majority of europeans is against islam. Democracy decides. His country has almost zero muslims. If slovakians want them out, so be it.
Dude, there is nothing permanent about anything in life. 2,000 years ago, no Europeans were Christians.
One-day Islam or so other religion may become the dominant one in Europe.
Muslims have problems with Israel; go ahead and bomb Israel to hell, but why kill and injure hundreds in non –Muslim countries where you have been allowed to live and enjoy luxuries on offer in that country?
.
It wont. Considering the current developments and extreme rise of the far right its very possible even the old concentration camps get back online in the next 5 years. Who knows?
No, that wont happen as it is too extreme for Europe in this day and age.
Europe has to get used to large numbers of non-whites and/or Christians becoming a permanent part of the continent.
