ISI not in Pakistan government control: Mansoor Ijaz

No one is saying that ISI isnt loved by pakistani Public ,infact i havent come across a single pakistani who has said it , point taken ... however the only point i highlighted was that according to constitution ISI comes under the jurisdiction of government of pakistan and not the other way around ... when we read articles that "ISI is not in Govt control" it gives a indication that constitution has failed its purpose there !

Who said that foreign intelligence authorities in any country work under control?
So don't talk about constitution because constitution couldn't cover interests of foreign intelligence and their plans. After all it's in state's interests.

This guy who opened mouth against ISI, knows better how effectively US constitution applied on CIA! Fun.

ISI is a break that puts Scumbag politicians on hold , if it was not there these politicians would have literally sold Pakistan .

Normal people cannot even comprehend how ISI operates & how it keeps checks on its operatives unless you are an ISI agent or belong to the family of one.

Those who have a military background would know what i mean.

Currently ISI is dealing with

1. TTP insurgents
2. peace deals
3. Indian presence in Pakistan
4. Indian presence in Afg
5. US presence in Afg
6. Inside india (looking for threats )
7. Keeping Alive teh kashmir issue
8. Hunting traitors
9. Maintaining Pakistan's interest Afg

etc etc etc etc etc

and they are doing their job perfectly & like Politicians they DONT complain.

How do they do it?

Ideally, the civilian government should always be in full control of the army.

However, the problem here is that the civilian government in Pakistan is not perceived to be trustworthy by the Pakistani people.

Difficult situation.

What if the army overthrew the corrupt civilian government, and wiped the slate clean so that the civilian government could start afresh?

did he mention something new???no..
so what the fuss??its known that ISI reports to army and army is supreme here

Yes! U absolutely right about that. But the foreign supported agents within our govt. are so powerful monetarywise that they create so much law and order situation within the country. Our Army overthrew the corrupt civil govt. so many times to clean this mess but the the secret foreign hand of CIA, MI6 Mosaad comes in action. They starts making political problems within our country pumpingin so much money and and creating so much law and order situation using their corrupt politicians and local agents. Almost everybody runs for money within our politicians and West has so much money to buyout pplz, thats how they were even able to throw Musharraf out of the power.......:smokin:

The problem is that "politicians" by nature, only care about their own ambitions. The more ruthless and immoral they are, the more successful they are in politics. This is especially bad in the "developing countries" such as China and Pakistan. Local politicians especially, are the most corrupt creatures on the face of the Earth.

We were lucky in China that we had many patriotic leaders, who set up a good "system" for us. One that rewarded top politicians on the basis of merit, not on political ambition.

For example, Hu Jintao and Wen Jiabao were both from very poor families in the rural countryside. They became engineers by trade, and rose through the ranks of government by hard work and talent.

Hopefully the Pakistani Army can wipe out the current political system in Pakistan, and replace it with one that rewards people based on merit rather than politics. That would be a good solution, I think. :)

ISI cannot be controlled even USA wanted to control it but ISI have to make sure that Pakistan is safe

what ever they are doing is the best interest of Pakistan and If they were to interfere in Afghanistan there would have been a lot more mess

ISI have helped every one even USA and NATO forces so talking about them in a bad way is not good

ok lets talk about CIA they are worse they kill change government torture etc.. CIA is not even controlled by USA government

at least ISI dont do that
