Shariah Islam is not something difficult to be implemented, in Quran we have Shariah Islam that should be implemented in economic sector ( accounting is also very Islamic since God order us to do so), criminal law, marriage, heirs.

Indonesia has already adopted shariah banking, other shariah based product like Sukuk we are among the largest issuance. We also have Ministry of Religion who has huge budget ( not far from our defense budget ) to finance state owned madrasah. build Mosques, coordinate Hajj and others. We have Ulama Council to make Fatwa like recently we ban Bitcoin. We have mandatory Halal for all food and cosmetic products. All chicken and meat for instant cannot enter Indonesia before it has Halal certificate.

For criminal law, we can implement Shariah Law based Criminal Law. At the mean time we still use Dutch criminal law. We can do the changes within parliament process. I dont know why so many people see we have to put Islamic words in our state to do it ????

While for private thing like hijab, praying, and others are not the obligation of government to regulate. This is why there is no punishment that the government should impose for the violators since it is private thing, only criminal action where the punishment is stated in Quran.

Currently for instant, the process to criminalize Zinah ( not only prostitution ) in our law is in progress.
