What's new

ISI - Inter Services Intelligence

No...why?
because then you would have known how much these Generals share with others, if they dont share anything with their close relatives how could they be telling that to a columnist ---- though it is different with Engineers and Signal corps Jernails ---but then they have nothing good to share :D

.
As per both Javed chaudhary previous columns and Talat hussain yesterday column, Karzai acused ISI infront of Nawaz and Coas and DG ISI. Nawaz sharif remained silent and didn't defended ISI. Then John kerry accused ISI of terrorism, Nawaz sharif remained silent and It was raheel sharif who gave shut up call to John kerry !

I didnt read Javed Ch columns....Abt tht John Kerry incident.in yesterdays column...I think Talat hussain mentiomed abt Gen Kiyani tht he gave a shutup call to Kerry....bcoz as far as I remember... He mentioned army ke "sabiq" sarbarah..... i will check it again..

the list can go on but then that will be too much to share on forum ---

You won't believe but he realized his mistake and conveyed his regrets to Nawaz sharif as per the columnist
John kerry apologized or was it General sb who apologized for interrupting his highness

So Mr. Kerry regretted making the mistake to NS when it was General Sharif who had challenged him to the correction? Something is not right with this story, more than just issues of protocol.

John Kerry apologised and then gen Kiyani( from wht I understand...bcoz he said. "Us waqt" ke army ke sarbarah) conveyed this apology of kerry to Nawaz sharif also..

John kerry apologized or was it General sb who apologized for interrupting his highness

John kerry accused ISI. Nawaz sharif didn't had a answer for Kerry, He helplessly looked at his General who answered briskly to Kerry. Later, kerry in one of his private meetings, regretted making that comments and his regrets were conveyed to NS in a private meeting.

This version of events is not totally credible either and different from the translation posted earlier.

Haste makes waste.

That is a better translation, but it means that Mr. Kerry never responded to the General what he said in the first meeting in the way of explaining Mr. Kerry accusations about the ISI, and later explained to NS in a second private meeting where the General was not present.

It's your assumption. Author didn't implied that

What you have said makes assumptions too. I am just pointing out that what has been said above cannot be the correct story.

I wouldnt hav believed it either but considering Haroon Rasheed is very close to Gen Kiyani and used to meet him often...and even now...so maybe he also met Gen Pasha , post his retirement.... This all was very confusing thts why I posted it here

Have you read Haroon Rasheed today's (Wednesday) column?. It is about his meeting with gen Kiyani.
