Well, ultimately people will pay for that.

Cowasjee had not iota worth of idea about hypocrite and selfish Mushy because the deceptive bastard took a u-turns on everything. He could have got rid off these leeches but instead of thinking about the country, he put himself first to get into the good books of Americans and their Arab puppets.

This only happens in the land of pure. Noon doggies have destroyed everything, while he is hiding in UK as an absconder, he becomes a senator absolutely unbelievable.

Now it explains why he retracted his application to be a candidate in the elections. He obviously got a better deal arranged.

Choose one, so called democrazy or Pakistan. Choose is yours. I thing people should not vote any big shot and choose either independent or less popular domestic parties and let them create the govt. Once all big selfish parties out then Pakistan will progress well. DON'T VOTE FOR PPP, PMLN, PTI, ANP AND MQM. Choose others and make their parties dead for two elections if you are True Pakistani

Pakistans voter turnout is barely 50%, those are not even elections. This is what happens when educated and informed people take elections lightly.

I think Cowasjee made this statement right after the coup or shortly after (as in a year or two)..before the NRO i believe.

I like to think that the NRO episode with musharraf had proven that the *establishment* isn't exactly all-powerful...and that the true power that the *establishment* needed was provided by the crook dynasties of civilian parties like PMLN and PPP. If the *establishment* would have been all-powerful they would never go with the NRO plan in the first place.

Would you agree with that?

Shame on pakistan democracy..
I heard that pmln amended the law of senate election in which no educational limit is required even an illiterate can have a ticket. Is that true ?

It all depends on the courage and integrity of the person. If he had the balls, he could have taken a stance and rejected it. But much before NRO, he let Shareef family slip out of the jail into a time-limited exile. IF NS was culprit, he should have opened cases against him and got him punished or simply dispatched him to the gallows...but he accepted the request / order by saudi King. Remember the state is more important than an individual. KSA needed good relations with Pakistan and especially its army so he could have politely declined that this interference into our internal affairs which won't be tolerated at any price. Do you know that in a coup in Nepal the whole royal family was killed....what happened to Nepal? Do you think world would abandoned a nuclear power and major military power for an individual?

I thought he was dying of every sickness imaginable :pakistan:

We have a system everyone should be proud of. An absconder from law, the official money launderer of Sharif family becomes a senator!! Now thats beyond marvelous.
