USA seems to copy a lot of ideas from China these days:

For China's massive infrastructure building up, President Joe Biden just signed the $1Trillion "The Infrastructure Bill" into law;
For China's "Forced Tech Transfer", US just came up with its own version, labelled as "Voluntary Data Submission";
To counter China's "Belt and Road Initiative", US is pushing G7 for their own alternative, "Build Back Better World or B3W";
For China's "Made in China 2025" Industrial policy, US counters with "The Industrial Policy Bill 2021".
.........

Next, US can also learn from China for its "Targeted Poverty Alleviation", and provide housing for all homeless people.

These two great countries learn and benefit from each other, and this is a great news for the whole world! :china::usflag:

UK infrastructure has lasted 200 years

Chinese infrastructure will most likely not last more than 20

thats the difference

why won't it last? It might need more maintanence if they used lower quality materials but it should last.

then all that low quality
Good for UK. By the way, Chinese infrastructure has lasted more than 2300 years. :enjoy:

like what Great Wall of China ? its not a technical thing made during the industrial revolution its brick and mortar

well then Egypt must be the best at this game since Pyramids lasted 4,700 years

After decades of stealing the world's IP, duplicating it, and then reselling it as its own, the world is just returning the favor. You know what they they say: if you can't beat them, join them.

You can call it "stealing ip", or you can call it "Voluntary Data Submission", or in Indians' term "Transfer of Technology", ToT for short. These different terms mean the EXACT same thing.

If you could you would but Made in India is 1/10 the quality for 10x the price while none of the money goes to the workers who are living in literal starvation conditions.

Well, the PRC was founded only 72 years ago, so we really didn't use the railway which more than 200 years.

This is the first railway built by PRC, Chengdu-Chongqing railway. It was built in 1950 and completed in 1952, with a total length of 504km. It has been running for 69 years without interruption. However, since China completed the Chengdu-Chongqing HSR of the same route in 2010, the Chengdu-Chongqing railway now has few passengers and is mainly engaged in freight business.

No. What China has done is clearly IP theft. Ask any country. Hell, even some Chinese members of PDF have admitted to it.

Perhaps. Still, China is not equated with quality.
