IS threatens to kill Japanese hostages in new video

It'll take some time but eventually they will officially declare a state of war which will have congress increase financial capacity and give more room to military movement.

White House Wants Bipartisan Support for War Authorization Against Islamic State - Washington Wire - WSJ

I think they will eventually send ground troops to speed up the proces of defeating ISIS but no more than 20K forces, mostly infantry & forward air controllers working together with local forces with the main objective being the restoration of the Iraq/Syria border and enforcing a barrier cutting ISIS in half as well as Mosul/Fallujah the 2 regional HQ's of ISIS of course.

I agree. An international consortium of at least 2 Army Corps would be needed to eject ISIS from major population centers in the region. Then, afterwards, the arrival of UN Peace Keeping Forces to ensure rule of law is maintained while political stability is realized.

To supporting them and letting the allies in the region to support them and now actually fighting them. Wow don’t you just love the American policy in the Middle East. You can't make this s*** up or wait you can if you're the American policy makers. Don’t you just hate that dumb stupid look on Americans when they are shocked from something they help create?(where did these guys come from and how did they become so powerful)

The U.S didn't Create them, don't have to blame the U.S for all the ills in this world. Jeez........last time Syrian lion was saying its the U.S that's manipulating Sunnis brains and body so they hate /kill their Shias 'Muslim brothers'. I never knew American had voodoo magic as well. To be able to use peoples brain and make them do what they want.:flame::omghaha: So people in the middle east should stop blaming the U S for everything, this region needs to grow up and assume its own responsibilities., instead of always blaming the 'evil almighty/omni potent' U.S.A:disagree::usflag::devil:

1 was a freelance journalists, there are many of these floating around. The other was just someone down on his luck, he tried to get work as a Security Contractor before being captured by ISIS.

Yukawa, irrespective of what his ideological status was when he decided to go to Syria, is still a Japanese National. He is a citizen of Japan and thus is subject to protection of the Nation to which he is citizen of. The same applies for our other national.

I didn't ask whether he is or he is not a subject to protection, what I asked was whether Japan's law allows its citizen to fight under japanese flag. Indonesia for example doesn't allow its citizen to fight for other countries or foreign factions, anyone who do so will lose its citizenship automatically, like the ones who are now fighting in Syria and Iraq.

Loool nihonji calm down , the mighty U.S/west and other Arab countries combined haven't been able to defeat them or free their hostages yet, and you think Japan can somehow manage to do this alone? Lool be realistic bro, there is nothing Japan can do other than pay the 200million I'm afraid. Else they will behead those two Japanese like they did with our journalist and American ones.
By the way Japan shouldn't get involve in this, trust me, it will only bring you trouble with little gain. Why did Japan openly said it gave money for fight against ISIS? should have just done it privately I think.

Lool calm down nihonji. As I said earlier we are all on Japans side and against these Isis and other muslim extremist/islamic groups barbarians. However we have to be realistic, do you think Japan is more capable/powerful than the France,Britain,Canada, Australia and other western countries combined who are already launching attacks against ISIS? Much less the mighty U.S who by the way is still Japans security guarantor? Lol nope Japan doesn't have the experience/world reach that the U.S/west have accumulated all these years venturing/fighting abroad. So if we and the U.S couldn't do/change much, how do you think Japan alone can change anything? Loool. Japan cant do shit to be honest. It will have to pay the ransom or see its citizens beheaded by these evil islamists group called Isis, just like they did with British, american and other western journalists/citizens. So to be honest, though I hate to admit it, Japan will have to(and she certainly will) pay the money and negotiate. No argument about that. You have no other choice IMO.

LOL this is the one thread where I actually support mike2000's trolling. This is hilarious. Keep it up.
