Newegg.com is also a very safe and a good site to online shop.

Newegg is ripoff their shipping is way too expensive, Amazon rules, ebay is 50% unreliable.

Well it depends on where one is located. Their shipping prices are not as good as Amazon. Still decent enough though. His tag says he is in USA, so for him it wouldn't be so bad. Outside USA well, naturally shipping would be a little more. Newegg is not as good as Amazon. Still though, its an option for him to at least check out.

You mentioned Ebay. Thats another option like others have already mentioned. Unfortunately, there are some scammers on there. Which is why I only buy from individuals/businesses who have very high positive feedback. Never had an issue on Ebay, and its very secure. Again, just another option he can explore for himself. Doesn't mean he has to use it.

unless you are in uk, in which case you might wait whole day for package only to find a card that says, failed delivery, collect from depot.
sometimes they leave your stuff in front of your house, even in bin..
