Is this news true? (Taliban Supports Qassem Soleimani)

The reason that Pakistanis on PDF support the Taliban is because they see it as their "soft power" in Afghanistan, taking their share of Afghanistan and blocking the Indian influence in there. We have no interest in Afghanistan like that.[/QUOTE]

In a way correct we look at things from countering what we see is New Delhi's hideout spots in Kabul but the Taliban is not a monlith of a group and they are Pakistanis that oppose using them in the establishment and in the diplomatic corridors the thing is there is not much of choice in Syria you had Strong Secular Nationalist leader and groups plus unifying cause to fight Afghanistan not so much since the Soviets left in 1989

I wasn't talking about morality. I am saying that we cannot trust them with game changing weapons.
We do not want the Americans in Afghanistan out at the cost of creating another enemy which has nothing to lose. If we want to support them, we should first be able to control them by gaining influence within their organization. And we do not have influence in the Taliban now.

They are near our border. You should think twice before arming an enemy that lives right next to you.

Again everyone enemy until certain interests arise they share are common the Syrian conflict is a good example of that

.
A lot of terrorist groups in Syria fought each other. That doesn't make one of them better than the other.

They weren't worse than Saddam because they didn't have the military power to cause trouble for Iran. Saddam used to have one of the world's largest and best equipped ground forces in 1980s. The Talibans kidnapped and beheaded our diplomats. Have you forgotten it? They killed 10,000 Hazaras in Afghanistan in less than a week because they were Shiite. They forced Afghan women to stay indoors and barred them from education. How can you trust such a radical anti-Iran group with game changing weapons? Are you sure you are thinking rationally now?

Not much different than Iranians not allowing their women into football stadiums.

.
Iran should support Afghan Taliban. Imagine Taliban with ballistic missiles like Houthis and Hezbollah. US forces wouldn't last a month.

Nothing would happen because to launch ballistic missiles you need infrastructure and bases. Taliban operate out of mountains and exploit the geography, it's the reason US is unable to deal with them effectively.

Iran is far better than Pakistan when it comes to everything related to women's education and rights. Please do not force me to remind you of what Pakistan is in this regard. You won't like it.

We have 3 millions of Afghans in Iran. If we want to fight the US in Afghanistan, we should help people who are loyal to Iran, not a radical group that considers us infidels.

They did many dirty acts which I reject, however they're a reality in Afghanistan. Even Latif Pedram says lets accept taliban and give them autonomy in south afghanistan. What do you think about warlords that are part of the afghan government? they also did many terrible things, but there was an agreement not to persecute them anymore for the sake of stability in Afghanistan. Ofcourse any agreement with taliban should be made in consideration that they not harm other religious or ethnic groups in future Afghanistan. Is it possible to make such agreement? I don't know, but I hope so.

Iranians should be the last nation on earth preaching others about morality and ethics, and especially Pakistan. Pakistan is no better (maybe worst) but since you pointed out how Afghans treat their women, I thought I should show you the mirror as well.

Again, I am not saying that we should not support them based on moral grounds. I am saying that supporting them might turn out not to be in our interests in a very near future after they have become powerful. And obviously, giving them game changing weapons is very dangerous.

You can't show me the mirror, because women in Iran are safe, highly educated (probably best educated compared to regional standards) and enjoy more opportunities than women in Pakistan or Saudi Arabia. So, nope. Huge failure. We are the only country in the region that has a woman winning Fields Medal.

You are only making yourself look uninformed or Iranophobic. And yes, I stand by what I said. Iran is like Europe compared to how women are treated in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

10/10 but who knows what's exactly is going on behind the scenes in the diplomatic quarters of military circles in Tehran we can only speculate but the last few years has been interesting to see that the Taliban is less viliafied by its neighbors these days but an accepted reality

"Like Europe" lol keep living in fool's paradise we all know how well developed and liberal your country is. I really wonder why people were having protests in this "Europe" for regime change not so long ago.

Iran's HDI is 65th in the world. Pakistan is 152. I'm not even going to mention traditions like honor killings in Pakistan.

I never claimed Pakistan was "Europe" for women but unlike your claim, your country isn't any better than Afghanistan either.

Although Saudia Arabia was never mentioned in our conversation, thanks for bringing them in and displaying your frustration.

It was you who butted in the conversation out of nowhere because you wanted to make Iran look bad. But now you have lost the argument completely and all your points were refuted with evidence and anything you say from this point on will only prove that you're a fool with no knowledge, motivated by anti-Iran sentiments and sectarian hatred.
