Get it done first and rule out hyperthyroidism.
How's your bowel health?stomach pain since a year which I just noticed now.
you should first get a diagnosis, not treatmentI am excessively losing weight despite of eating more than a normal person does. Mood swings are common for me along with irritation or short temper even at home. I cannot tolerate someone speaking loud at all lol
He prescribed Inderal 10mg which didn't work. So I went for 40 instead which did at first but now it doesn't.
you should first get a diagnosis, not treatment
regardless 10 mg is very low dose and it has be taken mulitple times a day as it i sshort acting
you should always ask you doctor whats the diagnosis?
and he should be able to answer you
How's your bowel health?
I did visit Drs in past and all they do is keep me confused. I am tired making booking appointments so I decided to make sure where to visit.
well, its your doctor job to explain it to you carefully and to tell you what the next stepI did visit Drs in past and all they do is keep me confused. I am tired making booking appointments so I decided to make sure where to visit.
What do you mean by poor? keep an eye on color, shape, smell, frequency, and consistency of your stool.
Also, see a medical specialist and go forward from there. Tell him your symptoms, all of them. And let him rule out any possible underlying conditions.

even if doctors dont go for any tests, they away think about a diagnosis..let say he might have thought you have simple essential tremors so he prescribed you inderal/propanolol.
but that would not explain, weight loss, and blood pressure.
weight loss is big red flag, no simple condition causes weight loss.
so you need more investigation, proper history, physical exam and diagnosis
The thing is that medical experts are not willing to listen to me. All they do is keep shaking their heads or 5 minute men farigh karne ki karty hen. I don't even get a chance to explain my situation. They ask few scripted question like a Customer Representative in a firm does lol. That happens everywhere I go.

ye kis qisam key doctors hein?
anyway 90% of diagnosis is history and first look at the patient
but never take weight loss lighty, yoy need to have diagnosis at hand
hep b is screening test recommended for every one, it WILL NOT EXPLAIN YOUR TREMORS OR BLOOD PRESSURE if god forbid you have hepatitis it will cause loss of apetite and weaknessDrs asked me to get HBsAg diagnoses done along with LFT , Stool test and cbc. But none of them actually respond according to the situation.
I know what you mean; don't go to emergency wards or in the OPDs of government hospital. Go to professor doctor of any university in his/her private clinic.
In which city do you live?
hep b is screening test recommended for very one, it WILL NOT EXPLAIN YOUR TREMORS OR BLOOD PRESSURE if god for bid you have hepatitis it will cause loss of apetite and weakness
unless you are going into cirrhosis, in that case you gain weight with muscle loss
stool testing is for most part useless, cbc will tell you key information
but you need metabolic profile and thyroid testing
other clues for thyroid disorder are skin changes, hair loss, swallowing problems..but i would assume even a medical student should pick up hyperthyroidism..it seems things are getting worse since i left 5 years ago
see someone from teaching hospital and insist on him explaining it to you
