But I can say with fact that when Jinnah was on the 'range' he was not aiming for Pakistan. Instead his crosshairs were to give constitutional protection of minority Indian Muslims in a united India. His 'bullet' however missed thanks to Nehru's obduracy and instead of protecting minority Muslims he ended up making them even weaker and exposed.

And just to inform you incase you missed out on the real part. Pakistan was supposed to be for all Muslims and they were supposed to migrate if they wanted. So Pakistan is at fault for not forcing those people to migrate or bringing them in special service flights?

What you are saying is right, but it wasn't Jinnah's fault.. Gangus were so many and Muslims were so much distributed across India, that their vote couldn't do anything to help Jinnah get anymore land..

An ideal scenario would have been to push the Muslims of present day India to change the demography of Gujrat, Rajhistan, Bombay, Indian Punjab etc. This should have been started at least 20-30 years before the creation of Pakistan..

Indian Muslims were also bewakoof that they couldn't see what was coming their way!

Thet were heavily populated areas. Hindus were in Majority. Even here in Sindh, Muslims were not 100%. In Punjab, many Muslim majority areas like Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Ferozepur, Anjala, Zeera etc were wrongly given to India

There are many phases of Jinnah's life and his politics. Yes. Initially Jinnah wanted special rights for muslims of India within the Union of India and Jinnah worked towards that Goal.

Jinnah wanted India with weak centre but strong provinces so that muslim majority provinces can live autonomously within India while Congress wanted India with strong centre but weak provinces.

When Jinnah saw he can't protect special right for muslims of India then he went all out for Pakistan.Yes I am aware of Cabinet Mission Plan. Under Cabinet Mission Plan, the India will have weak centre but strong group of provinces for 10 years. After 10 years (i.e. 1956), these provinces will have right that they can attain independence from India. In this way whole of Punjab and Bengal would have opted Independence from India beacause of overall muslim majority. Jinnah saw a bigger Pakistan in 1956. This is the reason Jinnah accepted Cabinet Mission Plan in 1946 while Congress rejected the Cabinet Mission for the same reason and agreed for Pakistan in 1946-47.

Muhammad Ali Jinnah said in 1945, “Muslims who are opposing Pakistan will spend rest of their lives proving loyalty to India”
