You got that right about JUI--THE most useless of all.

PPP is bad in governance but, as @hinduguy implies, PPP should get a lot of credit for the first ever democratic civilian transition, for various legislative and political moves (Gilgit Baltistan autonomy, 18th Amendment, making 'K-P' from NWFP--a longtime demand, for standing with NS during the Dharnas...). And PPP has great people like Senator Raza Rabbani and still has a segment of dedicated leftists and pro-minority people.

We should hold PPP's feet to the fire for their lack of governance--and they were horrible nationally and are most probably horrible in Sindh even now. But it would be extremely imprudent and undemocratic to wish death upon a party which is at least not sectarian, not run by religious bigots, and, under right leadership, has a sizable vote bank in Sindh, Punjab, and K-P.

The governed for 5 years whilst keeping all opponents and the military at bay, drained the national exchequer to the bone and destroyed institutions and national businesses for all they were worth, had zero effect on controlling terrorism other than the Adiala Jailed Model's brother in law appearing at bomb sites after all was done, they trampled upon the rights of every Pakistani, making you wait eons at airports, at traffic signals and otherwise, pushed their brethren and family into every government job that existed and even those that did not, and to top it off they did it smiling and mocking the entire nation whilst it looked on like a bunch of captured slave women in front of an invading army.
In a nutshell, they raped Pakistan and by inference Pakistanis and all we could do was curse with every thrust of their loins as they screwed us.
Therefore, they were/are the most useful and successful political party in Pakistan and we know it.
