1950s: There was no real opponent but the newly found independence provided a safety valve.
1960s: It found opponents in India and 'Bangladesh'.
1970s: This was one period of hibernation.
1980s: The opponent was Soviet Union.
1990s: The opponent was India.
2000s: The opponent was USA.
2010s: The opponent was again USA.
So it is NOT Kashmir that Pakistan wants but a duel to vent it's energy.

If it's real why has the Kashmir dispute been unresolved for 73 years? If the belligerence was real, there would have been a fight to the finish long ago and one side would have been vanquished and shattered completely.

Authentically I can confirm that Pakistan is a military threat and the ordnance used is real as are the bodies of those injured. And killed.

Real. As to your very valid point that if it is real why has it not been resolved 73 years later. The answer is simple. Look at both India and Pakistan. The houses are poorly built. The roads are shoddy. Everything is not quite as good as what you will find in USA, Germany, Japan or UK. The reason is the collective desi mind is lazy. It does everything but it never gives 100%. Always a corner is cut. Always there but not quite up there. Result is desi culture excels at bragging but never delivering 100%. More noise then real action. Even when it coes to sport which demands the best of the best what does desidom do? Find the most lazy sport you can imagine. Cricket. Grown men standing there, rubbing their penis. Football? No it's too demanding. Rugby? No it hurts too much? The result of this laziness is South Asia looks second in everything.

This lack of giving 100% and finding lazy way out can even be seen in war. Like two fat lazy fighters after few punches and few scratches they go home. Quit. Quit. Quit. This is the reason why this issue has not been resolved.

Think. Our wars have lasted shorter then it takes to make baby. Our wars killed less people then road traffic does every year. Now compare the way countries like Germany, Japan, USA, Russia, UK etc treat war.

Clue that Imran Khan also may be corrupt, no different from other politicians

I know nothing about Pakistani politics, society or people. But I know Pakistan cricket team very well. How the various generations of Pakistani cricketers between 1947 to 2015-16 behaved...

Traditionally Pakistani cricket team had been very strong. Just the efforts of two cricketers would be enough to beat India. Be it ODI or be it tests, if the Pakistan cricket team played genuinely to it's true potential the win-loss ratio against India would have been 99:1 without any draw.

But the official results produced were not so. Pakistan lost many matches and many were drawn. Only the first few defeats Pakistan suffered in 1950s were real and there are doubts about even that.

Clearly 1960 onwards it was a case of match-fixing.

Pakistan team's loss and draws against India happened even when Imran Khan was included in the team. Why did Imran Khan allow the defeats and draws?

This gives rise to suspicions. PMIK may be corrupt and he is no different from other politicians. And just as he allowed Pakistan's defeats in Indo-Pak cricket matches, he may be allowing Pakistan's defeats in Indo-Pak political disputes.
