Is Pak really buying j-10b or not ?

It is a complex answer, Instead of a reactive procurement plan, Pakistan needs and already has a Pro active stragic plan, and from what I have read on the forum, J10 doesn't fit in it. Now despite of J10, Jh7 and J11 fanboys here, let me categorically state this. Your PAF brass has finest minds in the business and there is no whatsoever reason to second guess their strategic plan for development and procurement for the strategic road map they have planned.

They are so smart that our best friend is now the best friend of the enemy----so indeed---they do have fine minds for giving the enemy everything on a platter.

I don't see Pakistan buying J-10 ever. They already have a plane that's on the same level or better in the F-16

Pakistan needs a big bird like the Su-35 or F-15. I also don't see the J-20 being exported to Pakistan or any other country either.

It is due to the reason that the paf is ruled by the F16 MAFIA---otherwise---J10C is the right aircraft.

If Musharraf was the pres----there would have been no more F16's but all J10's---and possibly no JF17's either.

i just wanted to know if we are really buying those jets as from the information in internet we should be operating a whole squadron by passed year ....... but they seem not even this close to be inducted in PAF .......
moreover i think instead of matching enemy power we should outsmart them ...... because i think that the PAF is thinking that they should keep on inducting JF-17 and wait for j-31 and j-20 and after evaluation go for either and get f-16s as much as they can as a bonus ............ but if i am being stupid in these thoughts plz make it clear to me ..... as we can clearly see the future needs ... jf-17 seems more then enough for CAS but deep strike and air superiority they are not as efficient . If you think of this thread not even worth considering and childish plz ignore rather than trolling @MastanKhan @Zibago @django @Horus

Only when Russia allow Chinese to export AL31 engine to third party. J10 is running Russian state of the art engine. Now go to sleep ......

PAF cannot control India's economy, it's foreign policies and it's acquisitions, the only can only turn the knobs it has. And in my objective opinion they have done pretty well with the limited budget they have. If anything bulk of your defence budget is dominated by the Army and it has more or less been un-imaginative, reckless, and extremely poor at situational awareness, but I have never seen them draw your ire. Btw your comment on "best friend" also has to do a lot with your army ans less with PAF, as PA is the defacto caretaker of your sugar mills to the foreign policy. Your traditional narrative has been the fighter Mafia in PAF, which incidentally has focused on Multi role platforms from the get go. Anyways go down to angeles forest and show us some groups for your .270

The deal was cancelled as Pakistan should take its thunder project to its highest peak...
J-10 and Thunder are same class fighters so we dont need them at this time.....

J10 was and will remain a backup plan for PAF.
When ever PAF will need sudden boast in its capabilities, like rapid increment of two squadrons in half an year during hostile time, or during war time in order to fill up the gap created by destroyed or damaged aircrafts, J10 will step in. .......
Otherwise it's highly unlikely now that it will become part of PAF.
