What's new

Is it time that we all accept the fact that Iran is at war in the Middle East?

which draws us to the conclusion that Iran must be bad
well since so many people are saying it so it has to be true. Galileo was wrong to assume earth was not centre of universe because everyone said it WAS

Well, that may be so my friend. But I was just disagreeing with the fact that Iran is not getting any negative attention over what they are doing or not doing.

edit: oh, you were being sarcastic. lol

The Persian Vs. Arab conflict goes back centuries. The recent events are just a new chapter in the ongoing conflict. Its basically a clash of civilizations.

Not really. Atleast i,as a Iranian don't want to be a part of this conflict. Now is the era of building up, becoming richer not anything else.

Look at Persian gulf arab nations like UAE,Qatar,Kuwait etc. They are tiny but the power they project is admirable.

The barbaric regime in Iran is hell bent on destroying the country and the entire region for their Shia empire. I, as a Iranian actually side with the sane minded Arabs on destroying those mullahs.

While everyone portray Syrian and Iraq war as a war between dictatorship and freedom fighters (Syria) and between Shia, Suuni and seperatist Kurds.

But Iran gets barely mentioned, why? And you have the biased Western media often talking about Saudi Arabia and Turkey, blaming them for destabilising the Mid East.

The reality is they're taking over Syria by replacing Assad's commanders, officers and militias to Iranians. When you hear the word "militia" they're Iranian led, financed and created by them. The vast majority of the funds and backings comes from Iran, not the world and not even Russia who got their money from Iran to get new toys for Assad.

They're participating on the frontline in Iraq while the Coalition are doing the work on air. Hell, there are probably tens of thousand securing Baghdad or Basrah to secure their borders. In the eyes of Iraqis and most Kurds, they see Iraq as a satellite playground for Iran and often labelled politicians of Iranian stooges. Same goes for Yemen and Lebanon.

Why is it Iran, a non Arabic speaking country are involved behind all the mess and dragged Saudi Arabia into this turning both nations, forced each other to compete by all means using arm race and making different allies in the region which led to more bloodshed.

It is obvious without them, Assad would have fallen long time yet people still refuse, makes no sense.

Well, Iran and Iranians are generally a victim of their own regime. After the catastrophic revolution of 1979, Iran was turned from a moderate state into a politically insane entity. From the day Khomeni landed in Tehran, enmity was declared as an "official policy" with the surrounding neighbors, let alone the U.S, and Western Europe. All of my reading of the Saudi political literature confirms that ever since the revolution, the Iranian regime has been showing an unexplained amount of political enmity and hostility. Envoys after envoys go to Tehran to try to understand the reasons behind this hostility or the ultimate purpose of it, but to no avail. Now the sectarian difference is only part of the story. The ancient Persians-Arabs mutual hatred and disgust is only another part.

The truth of the matter is that the whole Iran is now taken as a hostage for a military mafia named the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Their actions aren't the actions of politicians, but the actions of mafia leaders. There is no sufficient explanation for them to bankrupt themselves over the support of Asad. All totalitarian regimes however commit suicide by addicting themselves to "political gamble". The Iranian regime has already paved the way for an internal collapse by basically ruining its own economic infrastructure. No matter how hard they deny it, they won't be able to afford their imperial dreams, and the pain of the collapse will be spectacularly disastrous.

a lot of Iranians, not royalists most of them, don't want a conflict
you know most of us hate the islamist fanatics, from the talibans to IS or salafis jihadis groups
they put hatred . they are not the only ones but we cannot close our eyes and act like it doesn't exist.
now some people leading our country don't have the morality to stop supporting some bad groups...
but we are so far from a democracy... as you know

Hasnt what is now Iran been at war for about 3000 years? With the odd decade of peace, far longer than the existence of most modern counties
