Not really controversial, due to climatic conditions people from south are darker than people from the north.In the south we prefer rice, north they prefer wheat... quite similar to the northern China, southern China thing.

Yeah they are whiter compared to most of the south because of diet and climate, down the south some are brown, black , white etc...etc... because we are close to equator.

Guys the spice market.. That was some experience in Delhi !

Both India and Bangladesh are vibrant with colors.. (Never been to Bangladesh though).. If one country that epitomize a single colour it has to be Sri Lanka.. The Emerald isle, Nothing comes close except may be Ireland

Brother I have been to Sri Lanka's wildlife reserve in the midlands. It was closest I felt to amazon rain forests in a sense. Sri Lanka is a beautiful place!

So is Pakistan for that matter. From my extensive travel experience I can say that people in Pakistan highland up north are the most welcoming and down to earth people on earth. Those mountains are scenic as well !

India is undoubtedly the most colorful country in the world. Pakistan, Nepal Sri Lanka, and Bangledesh ar colorful too, but not s much as India due to factors like religion and culture. Indian clothing makes it possible to have more colors in it for examlpl sarees and turbans and dupattas, etc which might not be the case with BD or Pakistan. also India has probably more festivals than any cuntry in the world and that too allows it to have more colors..in fact you have a festival totally dedicated to color.
