Is India prepared for war in the 21st century?

. . . .
Let's face it, when india makes a dumb move, China and Pakistan will take back what is ours :pakistan: :china:

Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Burma, Nepal and Bhutan will take their share of india too.

sinochallenger....welcome back...we missed you :smitten::smitten: You got banned and the forum lost the most humorous member, we missed your multi mega tons and your DF 41's, and your 30000000 nukes. And your scheme of how China will obliterate each and every nation that stands up against the supaa powahhh China. Specially missed was how the great China will scheme with Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan etc to defeat India and how you will divide India between these countries .All Hail Sinochallenger and multi megaton nukes.

The greater worry should be how the letter was leaked, was a serious breach of security, as a letter from the Army Chief, to the PM would have been regarded as classified.

I often worry about Indian nuclear assets. This incompetence to keep such discussions under wraps is a bit unsettling and suggests incompetence at the very highest level

India is prepared for a war in the 21st century but not for a 21st century war.

It's called purposeful distortion of facts, manipulation and selective exposure of false data, purging and intently stating a case of an alarming ill preparedness to face extreme unfounded risk, The Inability and deficiency to face non existent threat, under-reporting of actual capabilities to gain a much higher benefit than is actually required. The same example can be found in numerous false propaganda of capabilities which in reality is non present (e.g. WMD's or enemy 5th gen fighter programs like the J20 to get more funds for F35) to get clearances of more budget allocations than actually allotted.

A thread which could have been discussed seriously by members, just went down the drain because of the troll post by the famous chini troll in the very second post#2 !!

india is already having internal wars - e.g. the war against naxalites

so india ought to address those internal wars and squabbles first before thinking about real wars

Well we are doing pretty well as far as our two primary threats are concerned.

We have initiated a dialogue process with the Chinese and to be frank with you, the Chinese are sane people. They know war is not good for their economy and we know it's not good for our economy so in the end both of India and China have to take care of their economies and their booming trade which has touched $75 billion recently.

As far as the loonies to our west are concerned, lol well that country has become a joke anyways. In fact I'm not so sure if it can be called even a country anymore.

They don't even figure in our strategic abacus now. It's India-China and Afghanistan-Pakistan now. The India-Pakistan equation has lost its relevance in our strategic calculations now.

It's the Chinese that we're focusing upon and even that will be taken care of by our mutual economic concerns and our mutual desire to make welfare states rather than security states like some other countries in the region.
