Well leaving religion apart, just argue the fact ,why in the process of evolution the only men have achieved the highest level ? Why not any other species ? Are the humans are the oldest ancestoral inhabitants of this universe? If not then leave the science here, and jump to believe that we are the most fittest of All but its not the process of naturel selection nor the Darwins theory,we are purposely selected to be the superior of all,
Whatever it is. It is beyond the human ability to abract so the answer is n/a. Somethings are too big for us to understand. Is human a purpose or means to a purpose ?
If you look at our history over the last 70,000 years actually we are trying to rule only, make ourselves dominant over other species all around the world. Since Sapiens decided to leave their East African homeland for the second time, around 70,000 years ago, they virtually made other human species extinct. Modern human genes hardly have any traces of our Homo neanderthalensis or rudolfensis DNA. Around 45,000 years ago, all big creatures of Australia started to become extinct. It particularly coincides with exactly the same time when the first Afro-Asian human set foot on this continent. Around 800 years ago, when the first Maoris arrived, New Zealand lost all its major species and sixty percent of its birds. This list goes longer and longer, throughout history, from the days of early apes to till date. Most of the large animals that survived the onslaught of our ancestors disappeared or are almost on the verge of being extinct today, be it Tasmanian tigers, American cape buffalos or Asian/Siberian Tigers. Our forefathers were explorers but they were certainly not naturalists.
It is not the curiosity that makes us much different from other species. It is our better cognitive skills that made the difference. It is the very forbidden fruit that our ancestors swallowed around 70,000 years back. Despite being much smaller in size than their Eurasian neighbors or say, the arctic mammoths, our ancestors beat them out of this planet because of their better organizational skill, better coordination between bands.
As for the original question, whether Human is a purpose or mean to a purpose, let see how we defined our purposes so far. We mark our civilizational success keeping in mind our agricultural revolution, domestication of animals, organized societies, large cities, back to back Industrial and political revolution few centuries ago. But still we could not get rid of our hunter gatherer instinct; Our subconscious ego has not changed at all as it could not outpace the post cognitive revolution changes in human societies around the world. We are still animals deep inside our heart. With each and every revolution our ancestors longed for better lives for their successors but that goal remained forever elusive. It is my opinion that, being an accidental product of natural selection just like other organisms we have no real purpose other than only to become extinct (like many others who might laugh at us from heaven if there is any) from this very earth; Be it from some ecological catastrophes, or self inflicted irreversible damages.
What ever you said is ok , but my argue is simply why humans why not those species were selected who are more powerful than humans in many regards, and is there any prove that retardation have not taken place, and science which gives us evolution theory still believes in Alliens without any prove of them , so my humble view is this supper selection and granted favour played a role in human supper species and it was done purposely,Highest levet at what? You have some species who became "better" at speed, power, camo, endurance etc. You are acually much weaker than a chimp and much slower than a cheetah. You canot fly, can not burrow, dont climb well Dogs have a higher level of awareness than you. Monkeys have better memories and they are faster at intellectual responses. Bats and dolphins have better acoustic processing. Birds have better navigation skills. If you are talking about intelligence then we needed to be intelligent for our survival. The main premise of evolutionary mechanics is something called survival of the fittest, or natural selection. This means those individuals in a species who are best adapted to survive will be the ones who live, reproduce and pass along their genetics while those not well adapted for survival die off and their genetics die with them. Thus over time the best genetics are passed along.
The reason humans are so dang intelligent compared to other species is that our brains are what kept our species alive. The more intelligent and clever ones lived while the others died. Think about ice ages, predators, famines, droughts, etc. Humans didn't have the strength or speed to catch and kill anything they wanted for food. They had to be smart about it. Thus we see humans using tools, fire, shelters, etc. The groups of human like ancestors who didn't figure this out died off. Human intellect continued to improve as those with higher intellect perpetuated the species. Other species didn't necessarily follow this evolutionary trajectory as cheetahs, gorillas, fish, etc. survived based on speed, strength or whatever else.

Humans and chimpanzees diverged from our common ancestor more than six million years ago. Fossil evidence points to the ways which we have gradually changed. We left the trees, started walking and began to live in larger groups. And then our brains got bigger. Physically we are another primate, but our bigger brains are unusual.
We don't know exactly what led to our brains becoming the size they are today, but we seem to owe our complex reasoning abilities to it.
It is likely that we have our big brain to thank that we exist at all.
This analogy did not immediately come to my mind but yes. That is what we humans are happily doing in the name of better socio-economic security for the last ten millennia. We have wrecked havoc on this planet.Based on the behaviour of human beings you narrated, if i try to categorize homo sapiens then only other species that exhibit the same behaviour is a Virus. Just multiply and multiply; consuming all the resources of an area until all resources are consumed and move on and the repeat the entire process and all this continue to happen WITH NO Apparent purpose or end. Every other species adds diversity and beauty to this blue orb while being in perfect harmony & balance except the two.
Given the unthinkable size of this Universe, it is difficult not to speculate the existence of many other 'earths' that would have the ability to support organisms (which also could have flourished through natural selection of their respective environment). They may or may not be as advance as humans but is not that a strong possibility? What ever you said is ok , but my argue is simply why humans why not those species were selected who are more powerful than humans in many regards, and is there any prove that retardation have not taken place, and science which gives us evolution theory still believes in Alliens without any prove of them , so my humble view is this supper selection and granted favour played a role in human supper species and it was done purposely,
Means ?I can't Answer with your current conditions.
By taking out "Beliefs" out of the equation of Human "existence" and "Essence" will be like cutting out the wings of a bird and ask him "What it feels to Fly".Means ?
Human is not a purpose nor a mean to any purpose. Human is just another failed mutation. Just another closed end biological mistake. A surface nuisance. You're nothing. Not even a number.
By taking out "Beliefs" out of the equation of Human "existence" and "Essence" will be like cutting out the wings of a bird and ask him "What it feels to Fly".
Beliefs in whatever form is an essential part of our "Questions".
Therefore the philosophical attempts to answer it will be "biased", not Wrong, but incomplete, to tackle the "Great" Question.
"Beliefs is a consequence of "Free Will"... Without it, Humanity wouldn't exist."
Belief do not necessarily need "to believe"Actually what you call belief is as much assumption as modern science.
Belief comes from believe.
Language is considered an extra burden required to balance out other factors of the natural science.
@Well.wisher so did you reach any conclusion or hung on the romance of the quest.
