I know few of my friends were working in private banks in Dubai, they are back now. After money laundering law, it start hurting such type of hyped places. Recently Aljazeera launch interesting documentary about UAE, investigative report.

This is old one , new one is not released on youtube channel or there website. It still on TV. This is old one .. but it seems Qatar and rest GCC rivalries getting deeper and deeper...

Being in Dubai reminds me of Fight Club, "The first rule of Fight Club (Dubai) is: You do not talk about Fight Club (Dubai)"
Dubai has it's own share of problems but there is a huge media blackout over those issues, 2020 was a huge gamble for them and when I was last there in mid 2019 things were looking grim, my friends who are there are mostly hanging by the thread, they are now living on day to day basis, they are no longer happy and tension free as they don't know will the next day will be their last on the job or not
