I was in Mali during the first months of France's presence there and the populations were happy to see us and ousting the terrorists who imposed their law on them. I talked to them. But I understand that foreign troops on a foreign soil longer presence will raise some questions or doubt in the population about their intentions and their real role for and in the country,but especially to people on a Pakistani forum who probably couldn't put Mali on a map.

Mali has every right to demand the departure of French troops. However seeing the current state of Malian security forces,next week the shariah will be imposed in Bamako. That's just a fact. And Mali will be asking for French military assistance again,that's why they are keeping French troops on their soil. Seems like it is a hard fact to know. Unless you are supporting jihadist groups.

No,unlike some jobless who sit in their mom's basement,I've done something of my life and gave a little of it for my country during 8 years,now retired from military life and working in the private. Unlike you I have served my country,not sitting my @ss in the Netherlands and doing jack sh*t for it. (Pakistan)
