Is China supporting Myanmar rebels?

Seems that there are some of Chinese Individuals in the military who have sympathy to the Kokang Rebel (because they are Han Ethic to begin with. This news proof that it is not the government of China who help the rebel, but some indiscipline individual like Prof. Huang. And he's been detained because of his fault

Myanmar bombed rebels camp. But unfortunately rebels camp are inside the Chinese side. So unavoidably Myanmar bombed Chinese territory. Myanmar also pretend to believe that Chinese Government doesn't support rebels.

IF this true, then you're lucky that Myanmar didn't get the China's wrath at the time. Bombing another country territory has given the country a great deal of casus belli to attack your country.

Officially, it stated that the rebel that bombed the Chinese territory and pretend that it was the Myanmar Military. They did "Devide at Impera" tactic to get China's support. But, if it was really Myanmar military who did that, it means that you're lucky that China has put a great restraint to not destroy your government and replace them with the Rebel. Specially after those photo publication that said about the cruelty of your military to the town where Kokang people lived.

Those publication alone has given PRC enough justification to considered your government as tyrant, just like Assad from Syria, and have to be overthrown, like what the Western countries doing to some Middle East Countries.

But they don't do that. So why do they want to destroy your country now? They have their best chance to do that. Instead They chose to support your government at that time, and not Rebel. So why?

You are somewhat wrong if this is the truth than why would China sell equipment to Myanmar to make it become strong and weaken the rebels. Why is China allowing the sell of JF-17 to Myanmar. Rebels can get hand on weapons by stealing from Myanmar Army which is also using chinese weapons.

China sold JF 17 to Myanmar military. At the same time they are selling FN 6 to UWSA rebels.
Myanmar Army doesn't use Chinese small arms, machine guns and FN 6.
QBZ, ZBF 05 and FN 6 are used only by China.
All infantry weapons of Myanmar Army are locally designed and produced.

Including Indonesia. They are not the representative of the government, instead greedy individual who want money by selling the military weapon illegally. They are criminal. Or, it can also be done by people who feel sympathy to Kokang people just because what you done to Kokang Civilians (Han Descendant) at that time.

I don't care about Kokang Rebel. But I, too, can't be help to feel sympathy to the Kokang Civilians who forced to leave their home and take shelter in China.

And look at what the Chinese Government done. They arrest Prof. Huang, a strategist because of what he did (read the news that you quote). They said it was corruption, but the news said that Prof. Huang has something to do with the rebel, and he got punished because of that.

It can happen in any country. I agree.
But it would be extremely difficult to smuggle out APCs, howitzers, SAMs, rockets.. etc.. from a strong communist countries like China. Practically it is impossible.

Do you know about the infamous "Golden Triangle" in your country? Drug Lords who smuggle narcotic to China and other countries in the world? If they can sold their drug to China and another countries, then Kokang Rebel can smuggle illegal weapons from China and other countries to yours too. What they need were people who feel sympathy to them, or corrupt soldiers who sell weapons illegally. It's a kind of Al Qaeda. Who got sympathy from non government entities.

Maybe there are some rogue high ranked PLA officers who feel sympathy to them, just like Prof. Huang. No one know. But there is no proof that the Government of PRC support rebel and hostile to Myanmar. Instead, they arrest the rogue strategists

China can always give advanced tanks like Type 96, heavy artillery, sophisticated SAM etc to the rebel if they really-really want to overthrow your government and replace them with the rebel. And the rebel won't Kokang rebel alone. But all of them.

btw, a question, do Myanmar people still call their country Burma?
