Hmm, you make a interesting point my friend a Russian blogger named Anatoly Karlin who usually focuses on demographics and population made a point that maybe in 10-15 years to keep the economy floating and labor China may encourage immigration from the Former Soviet Republics in Central Asia Russia already has a lot of those folks inculding folks poorer republics like that and from the Caucausus as well, anyways I think thats is more plauasble than Pakistanis immigating en masse to China

A lot of Russia is warming now or it might be a Russian betrayal or whatever. Suffice to say, a lot of Chinese are buying land in Western Russia & immigrating too, right on top of North-Eastern China.

Right, Russia and China have always been enemies....nowadays, China is only supporting Russia since it needs Russia against the US + NATO combo...same reason it supports Pakistan.

It's business as usual. When the threat goes away (from the West), China will seize Russian lands (the Russians are aware of it...) and make Pakistan it's 100th province (most Pakistanis aren't aware).

Going back to the topic...the Russians themselves are very cautious of the Chinese since they know of Chinese long term plans.
