bd is an asswipe excuse of a state, secular or otherwise.... the nations people are serial narcissists and that doesn't help the value of beliefs/ secularism etc

Religious states are not necessarily bad except for the Islamic states. Christians, Hindus and Buddhists are far tolerant towards other religions while Muslims have little to no tolerance towards other religions so I dont think a Christian state or a Hindu state will deprive people of other religions of their rights like Muslim states do.

in my opinion, religion divides people and for modern era humans, a little unnecessary... human civilizations have come far enough to do without religion and the barbarianism that it brings nowadays... though i'm a believing, fairly practicing muslim... i wouldn't be surpsrised the number of muslims (in the future, also applies to all other religion) stop practicing their religion or believing in it altogether....

Nope the problem is amongst the muslim community i believe. Check history, you will never find hindus fighting against buddhists or christians fighting against hindus or buddhists. But one thing is common and that is every religions had conflicts with muslims. You will rarely find a hindu vs Buddhist or Christian vs hindu war..

In Bangladesh secular Awami league have always protected the minority communities while Islamic groups and Pro Pakistan groups have always persecuted and attacked minorities in Bangladesh.

Just only SHE.. But 85 % muslims of BD already rejected the b shit secular concept .

BNP, Jamaat e Islami and other Islamic groups in Bangladesh are known for carrying out horrible persecution against minorities especially Hindus. They destroy hindu temples, kills innocent hindus, rapes hindu women etc. Thousands of Hindus and tribal Buddhists were forced out of the country and their lands got grabbed by Islamic groups in Bangladesh including BNP. When BNP and Islamic groups comes to power, minorities in Bangladesh becomes economically backward as they dont get any jobs or can do business because Islamic groups put restrictions on minorities. I think Hasina is the best leader for Bangladeshi people.

Yes Shanti Chukti was necessaty because without Shanti Chukti the tribal Chakma buddhists would have been deprived of many facilities they are enjoying today. However BNP and Jamaat e Islami have opposed it as they dont want minorities to prosper in Bangladesh.
