We Hindus have nothing to do with this, you guys can bomb each other to smithereens for all we care, but the selective bleeding heart syndrome of Muslim ummah is indeed amusing.

As Gaza grabs the headlines, epic slaughter engulfs the rest of the region. But where are the protests? | Mail Online

For people who have nothing to do with it, you seem fairly rammed in israel's butt cheeks and were cheerleading like the best of them when Gaza was attacked

Our heart bleeds for fellow muslims, but we now remember how many of the hindu's, jews, americans were cheering the attack on Gaza and are now shedding crocodile tears

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. military aircraft conducted an airstrike on Friday against Islamic State artillery used against Kurdish forces defending the city of Arbil, Iraq, near U.S. personnel, a Pentagon spokesman said.

Two F/A-18 aircraft dropped 500-pound laser-guided bombs on a mobile artillery piece near Arbil, Pentagon press secretary Rear Admiral John Kirby said in a statement.

He said the Islamic rebels had been using the artillery to shell Kurdish forces defending Arbil where U.S. personnel are located.

"The decision to strike was made by the U.S. Central Command commander under authorization granted him by the commander in chief," he said.

Kirby said the strike occurred at 6:45 a.m. EDT, or 1:45 p.m. in Arbil (1045 GMT).

On Thursday U.S. President Barack Obama authorized air strikes on Iraq to protect Christians and avert "a potential act of genocide" of tens of thousands of members of the ancient Yazidi sect who have taken refuge on a desert mountaintop from Islamic State forces.

The United States has also begun dropping relief supplies to the refugees.

Sunni fighters from the Islamic State, an al Qaeda offshoot bent on establishing a caliphate and eradicating unbelievers, have swept through northern Iraq since June.

U.S. troops pulled out of Iraq in 2011 after having ousted ruler Saddam Hussein eight years earlier. Obama insisted the United States would not commit ground troops.

You won't see Muslims protesting against ISIS, but Gaza yes, their heart bleeds for Gaza.

Unfortunately your right, there is a lot of hypocrisy among the Muslims against this barbarity because its being conducted by 'so called muslims'. I for one as a Muslim severely condemn ISIS's conduct and hope that the local players can get their act together and kick these pigs out.

My heart goes out for the Yazidis, i pray to Allah that their suffering is alleviated. What ISIS is doing is completely opposite to the teachings of Islam, they are the biggest infidels themselves .

ISIS Is killing muslims aswell you know how many mosques, islamic shrines they''ve destroyed they've also fighting the FSA who are predominately sunni as well as the al-nusra brigade, several well regarded sunni clerks have condemned there actions. both muslims as well as non muslims are the victims of ISIS brutality so please don't paint the picture differently.

Muslims or non muslims, what difference does it make? They are killing innocent civilians, and Muslims round the world should be protesting against them, like they did against Israel. Where is the outrage, where is the solidarity? Forget about protest, we have extremist Muslims around the world extending their support and pledging their allegiance to their new khalifa :disagree:

ISIS was harbored, trained, armed, and funded by NATO and Persian Gulf states, to weaken Hezbollah, undermine Iran’ and its ally Syria and reduce the Russia and China influence in ME

Its rather interesting and surprising that , USA’s with its surveillance capabilities failed to detect the movement of ISIS - moving thousands of men , trucks and heavy arms within Iraq.

No high expectations from US limited air strikes

there is nothing wrong showing solidarity with fellow muslims. We all are like that. Hindus of India will be outraged about mistreatment of hindu minority in pakistan but wont show similar concern about their own minority muslims.
This is human nature.

However many muslims tried to show solidarity with palestinian as a morally superior action. Yes it is, if you are non muslim. Otherwise its just a very natural response which might have come from our tribal past.

The difference is that the western world has condemned this and has taken action. The same can’t be said for Israel.

Nice neighborly conduct by their Sunnii neighbors. Let's hope the yazidi' get to return the favor.
