Why never again? We will support Iraq to rise from ash
And if even no one help them Iraq have oil and young population so they can rise without any helps

Iran which is capable of maintaining and overhauling the Su-25s "have no choice" but Iraq that can't keep them in service "have"?

So the IRGC Aerospace Force while under the strictest financial sanctions and arms embargo had no problem maintaining their Ex Iraqi SU-25s in operational, yet the Iraqis can't? They should give back the Su-25s that the IRGC sent to Iraq to fight ISIL back to Iran so at least they can be put back into service in Iran and not just rot away in Iraq!

Iraq is doomed because Iranians are ruling it through militias. Not sure why you act like you're unaware of that, Saddam was putting the Su-25's to good use against Majoos.

Even the F16's are no longer fully operational as your akhoond militia's seem to make a career out of firing mortars on airbases.
Saddam's Iraq had 70 SU-25's in service and maintained them, the state was fine till the Iranians brought their degenerate ways.

Hopefully some change occurs.

To think you guys jeopardised your F-35 deal and all the benefits your companies would have gotten from this project entire life cycle over buying S-400. Seems it's too late to regret. Might as well go ahead and give the Russians what they want, instead of losing on both sides.

Iraq is in a sorry state., Any country selling them weapons should take this into consideration. Even western countries have found out the hard way. Its more about Iraqs incompetent corrupt state not the fault of it's military suppliers.

It's just a result of the US and Britain putting Shi'a ISIS in power of Iraq. Imagine putting the lowest class of Brits in rule of the UK, the uneducated and corrupt. That's what Iraq has, people with little to no education, counterfeit diploma's and foreign allegiances are ruling it.

Yes I do agree. It was a big mistake we made by toppling Saddam and most of all disbanding the baathist regime/party. We should have maintained the regime in place and just change the leader/figurehead Saddam so that the country will still have its structure and state intact. Instead the baathist regime was disbanded completely which led to the fall of the state as we know it, the rest is history .
Moreover the stupid corrupt shi'a strongmen the US/UK choose to lead the country were incompetent, corrupt, sectarian and useless. They were focused on their personal taste/gain for power, sectarianism and nepotism . The results are here to see

I know you are jahil but please just this instance use common sense.

The airforce is not operational not because of "urgh the majoos are at it again", it's not operational because the US doesn't want Iraq to have a capable airforce that is why they delivered to Iraq a significantly weakened variant of the F-16 that can't even fire some types of guided ammunition (I know some people with links to the airfoce, they are the ones who told me that) and we can't buy from Russia or China because the US will impose the harshest of sanctions on us if we do so, even an Iraqi parliamentarian admitted that there is an American veto on them that prevents them from buying capable weapons from China and Russia for the airforce, that is why we can't buy spare parts from those countries because if we do then the US will show us the difference the hard way between a 21$ trillion economy and a 100$ billion economy. The US doesn't want Iraq to have a capable airforce so they and Israel and all their other allies have an easy time flying over Iraq's skies assasinating whoever it is they want to assassinate, They only allowed us to buy a limited amount and type of weapons when ISIS came in and after ISIS was finished the US went back to the norm of not giving us permission to modernise our airforce.

What a genius, because Iraq's broken air force is the only thing wrong with Iraq today. The entire country is a corrupt shithole, not just the air force.

Iraq's F16's are advanced block 52. Some of the things they lack are CFT's, but apart from that the aircraft is fine. It's the weaponry which is lacking, no JDAM, no AIM-120 AMRAAM, no AIM-9X. However again, none of that is a major issue when it comes to bombing ISIS, Iraq has laser-guided paveway bombs. Tbh, why would the US sell Iraq AIM-120 when Iran is half ruling the country.

The issue with Iraq's F16's? Irani militias bombing Balad airbase making contractors leave.

Seems like you're very content with Iran bombing your own airbase. Iraq has a real issue, too many of its Shias have a soft spot for Iran.

Get that Iranian outside of you and find your identity again.

Iran is not bombing "our airbases" they are bombing the airbases that are occupied by the US, there are still parts of Iraq that are occupied by the US. The reason the contractors are leaving Iraq and not maintaining the aircrafts is because the US has no intention of letting Iraq modernise it's airforce After all remember how long it took them to deliver those few F-16 due to pressure from Israel?

Or may be you should get the sectarian out of you, you keep bad mouthing the Shia Iraqis, the country is the population and the population is the country, a country is nothing without it's people, the majority of Iraqis are Shias, Arab Sunis are actually a very small minority, if you hate the majority of Iraq's population then that just means you hate Iraq itself. The only Iraq that can exist is a Shia Iraq, a Sunni Iraq cannot exists and if you don't believe me well then ask Saddam of 2003. a truely secular Iraq also cannot exist because for it to exist you have to implement policies that are more in line with atheism which only a few muslim countries were successful at, personally obviously I would chose to live in an atheist Iraq any day but unfortunately that will never happen since muslims (both Shia and sunnis) will never accept that.

Honestly you give us a bad name, you are an embarrassment to Iraq because I'm sure now when other foreign members read your posts they would think the only thing the everyday Iraqis talk about is Shia this Sunni that.. while in reality here in Iraq (at least in the capital) you will rarely find people talking in a way that is anywhere near as sectarian as you do, I'm sure in secret regular people in Iraq would say all sorts of things with family members but they aren't anywhere as sectarian as you are, in fact they mostly only speak in favor of unity.

So to the others in this forum please don't get the wrong impression from this camelguy , here in Iraq you will rarely find people being sectarian like him and our society consideres it to be rude to be sectarian like that.

I do not agree with Iran on everything for example the import of electricity, I would prefer it if we produce all of our electricity since Iran itself doesn't have enough electricity for all of it's regions to have a 24/7 electricity. But I recognize that they are a good ally because the alternative are the gulf countries who have back stabbed us (and back stabbed other Arab countries) before.
Sometimes you bad mouth Iran, other times you bad mouth Turkey and other Arabs.. if we would listen to you we end up with zero friends and 2003 will happen all over again.

May I ask what kind of education did you get?

Balad an Al-Asad airbases are Iraqi military bases, some presence of US military doesn't make it an American base.

My education surpasses yours by far, and that's the reason I do not believe in dialogue with your kind. We should've just created more mass graves for the majoos.

I can't believe these kind of Iraqis exist, do me a favor and drive your Saipa to Tehran where a Ayatollah can play with you.

That's all you had to say, why waste my time. You're a Shiite Islamist nut, and for that only one solution exists.
