I like how security personnel are taking selfies..
such a pointless development, these events will distract from the ongoing anti regime protests in Iraq, previously the regime used the Sunni boogeyman to scare the populace & convince them that the regime has to stay no matter how corrupt it is or else ISIS will rule, & now after ISIS has been removed it appears the corrupt leadership will use the US as the next boogeyman, I know the Americans are not idiots, they knew this would happen, so why did they launch the attack? either they don't really care about "limiting Iranian influence" & that is why they aren't supporting the protests & they just wanted to retaliate against the repeated attacks on their facilities or the US airstrikes were done in coordination with the corrupt politicians to distract the anti regime protesters towards a new boogeyman.
the top priority in Iraq right now is to bring down the entire regime with no exceptions & hopefully these events won't distract from that.
Once the boogeyman is gone the problems that were there before will still be there. The #1 objective for any true Iraqi is to get US troops out of their country. Its obvious that US presence is not helping anyone Sunni or Shia. Once troops evacuate and bases close you can go back to whatever you were fighting for.
I haven't seen any sources of this, unless they are sending them from the other bases in Iraq.
The same needs to be done in Afghanistan. Simultaneous pressure. Build the pressure and sit back.
The Taliban killed 14 soldiers yesterday despite so-called truce. The Americans are now finding out what it means to play divide and conquer. It has backfired like a bitch. Both Iraq and Afghanistan have gotten from bad to worse for the Yanks. So much humiliation and loss.
The ball is in US court. Are they going to play along or pack their bags and leave?
