PAF should ask him about the air war campaign of U.S on Iraq in last campaigns...

Would be a good thing to learn..

What air war? It was completely one sided, a slaughter.

I know. And thats exactly the point.

To know what Americans did..where they attacked first and foremost..."how" did they do it. Believe me, there's alot of learn from every air campaign...

For example, Israelis slaughtered Arabs too..but still, there's alot to learn from Arab-Israeli war

I don't think the current Iraqi army would divulge that info. The Iraqi leadership may be somewhat anti-US, but the IQAF is still firmly pro-US.

The PAF needs to study the US air campaign well (to learn, not necessarily adopt), I think, as in the role of Close Air Support has been enhanced in the current scenario of war that we're facing and the US has fought the only war closely resembling our environment (against TTP).

@Pakistanisage @Panther 57 can perhaps be better critics.

All air force doctrines are developed after study of different air campaigns. US air campaigns should be studied to evaluate its is applicability and effectiveness. However, USAF models cannot be adopted in letter-in-spirit; because US is a country which has not fought any war on its own land. All the USAF battles have been far flung from their own land, thus they have no fear of actual destruction of their own civil properties and installations. Even if they are losing the war, which is true in most of the cases, they do not have a threat to direct take over. In order to avoid casualties they have resorted to methodology of BVR in terms of interception, interdiction and strikes. For example the concept of high altitude carpet bombing,

As far as their operations in Afghanistan is concerned, it is again not comparable to Pakistan as it mainly comprised of gunship helicopter operations. Mainly hunting spree. You are very right in saying that US model will not be applicable on countries like Pakistan.

Your point of CAS and interdiction is very valid. In today's environment countries like Pakistan have to concentrate on this area, because defeat of enemy will highly depend on that. CAS will stop forward movement of enemy troops with reasonable protection to our won and interdiction will cutoff the supply line, forcing the advancing troops to either slow down or retreat.

This is my opinion, people may differ based on their concept of advance ware fare.

i hope like saudis iraqis will also take interest in jf-17

One must give thought to the possibility / likelihood of other countries showing interest in JF-17 only to improve their bargaining positions with USA, Russia, etc...

I am as patriotic as the next guy, but I am not sure if all interest being expressed is genuine.

Pakistan can easily help Iraq to build their own Iraqi Aeronautical Complex there like or better than PAC.

Pakistan can easily help Iraq to build their own Iraqi Aeronautical Complex there like or better than PAC.
Building an aeronautical complex is a long journey which PAF has covered this path in more than half decade, which transformed AMF to PAC. Iraq first needs to stabilise itself economically. Venturing into something that massive at the early stages of reconstruction will be suicidal.

Let there be some news worth celebrations now. These interests secret agreements (if there are any) are not satisfying.
