When Saddam was in power,the Shia were not happy. When the Shia were then in power,the Sunnis were not happy. I'm just saying,maybe get a Christian president for a change.

That would make both of them unhappy. Problem is most of the middle east shouldn't exist in a way it is now. England and France both of whom knew jackshit about local cultural and religious divide decided to draw political lines in middle eastern map each to carve their sphere of influence and steal oil. Its surprising that region remained relatively stable and peaceful for so many decades before descending into current chaos.

I think it's because a lot of Arabs still have a tribal mentality.
