Iran's Navy unveil new achievment on Navy day

[MTN1917]

In a ceremony attended by IRIN commander Admiral Sayyari and deputy commander of Iran's Army Brigadier general Mousavi Iran officially unveiled its naval phase arrayed radar named Asr.

According to Iranian official Asr radar is Iran's first 3D radar,it can detect and track ground and aerial targets with 4 m2 RCS from 200km,Simultaneous detect 100 targets.

It was also announced that new phase of Sahand frigate, new phase of a missile boat will be unveiled on Saturday and also Iran will start building a phase of Khalij Fars training ship, overhauled Lavan ship and several overhauled anti submarine helicopters will join IRIN on this day.

On Sunday two overhauled missile boats and several repaired Anti submarine helicopters will join Navy in Bushehr.

Fateh submarine and a new anti submarine torpedo will be unveiled in near future.

On Sunday two overhauled Kaman missile boats(Neyze and Tabarzin) and a Delvar class logistic ship(Sirjan) joined IRIN.
Missile boats are now equipped with Noor and Qader AshMs, new FCS, overhauled and repaired engines.
