So now we can make everything for our ships ourselves

We should see the Veleyat frigate soon. it was 80% finished a few month ago, now we have the engine.
also that new frigate will use AESA radar

Engine is a bit small for a frigate, torpedo patrol boat perhaps..

Iran's Jamaran frigate uses two 10,000 hp french engines.I think it's possible if we use 4 of this engine in a row for a frigate,besides,it will be much more efficient since only on or 2 of the engines can be used when less power is needed.

Engine is a bit small for a frigate, torpedo patrol boat perhaps..

Our defence minister said multiple of this will be used.
perhaps we will also add our gas turbines in there too.

It is really great to see Iran progressing so well!

At this rate it will only take another 10 years before Iran can make anything it needs.

If Iran-Iraq qar did not occur we would have a great economy and industry by now.
we have a decent industry today but we can do much much better.
we have everything we need, talent, resources.

looked them up, you are right about the HP, most of the twin-engines are rated at less than 6,000 HP. (each)
