Last time i saw a country's leader went among the people,so much close to them,was 2007,in Pakistan.Yes i'm talking about Benazir Bhutto,PM of Pakistan.But terrorists killed her like cowards.She was a brave woman,whether you liked her or not.
Going this much close has some high risks,and that's what i like about Ahmadinejad.he is so much close to people,goes among them,listens to their problems and solve them if he can.This is something that we barely see in western nations and also rich Arab monarchies.Imagine when was the last time when Malik Abdullah of KSA went among poor people of his country,hearing their problems and pains.I bet he hasn't done such thing in his entire life.

A few people sorrounded Ahmedinejad's car, what's the big deal?

I can tell that if the someone attempted to sorround Vladimir Putin's car without permission, he would be beaten by the police and forcefully taken away. This only shows how close the Iranian president is to his people. I wish we had a president like him in Russia.

Mate to be fair to Putin that would happen in most countries that's why it is pleasure to see this President

You are comparing him to Zardari, that is rather generous I would say! I am sure all politicians, Ahmedinejad included indulge in some sort of corruption - directly or indirectly. But yeah his image is pretty spotless compared to some others.

Like I said before, he needs to work on a few things:

- Communication skills in International matters - especially KSA/Israel/USA.
- Real/Perceived oppression of free speech. I know this from an Iranian friend that they are not all too comfortable speaking out against the government. That is not a good thing.

If these things can be sorted out, he can do wonders for Iran.

Is this suppose to be a witty comment?? King Abdullah each year makes visits to random areas in the country where the people are poor and hear them out. He also when visiting cities make such visits mostly without cameras but those are hard to find here.

Yeah, because they know that as much as they open their mouth and complain they will be decapitated by sword. Your king is not even educated and is fiilthy rich with tens of billions of dollars. Ahamdinejad has a PhD in engineering is not a rich man at all. In fact he can be considered a poor guy himself.
