Hopefully Iran is working on an unmanned fighter jet. Basically a UAV with jet engines that can conduct the same multi-role missions as fighter jet while taking orders from and working with manned fighter jets. Even a UAV that is maneuverable enough to avoid BVR missiles and that can engage other fighter jets is a game changer.

The Karrar UAV can already launch a sidewinder and act as a kamikaze missile if I'm not mistaken, and most UAVs can also be armed with MANPAD type weapons but I'm talking about a UAV that can launch medium to long range BVR missiles like the AIM-54 Phoenix or the AIM-120.

Turkey is already has the Akinci drone but it doesn't use jet engines and has a huge radar signature making it an easy target. It's also not maneuverable enough to avoid BVR missiles from fighter jets. Their new Kizilelma drone however seems like a step in the right direction.

I've seen Iranian prototypes of highly maneuverable UAVs in their miniature version undergoing tests but no large prototype yet, although who knows if they're keeping it under wraps.

Turkish Kililelma UAV - In theory these type of UAVs should be able to communicate and work side by side with manned fighter jets.

Chinese are also working on some advanced models like the Dark Sword for example

If we see more development in the engine industry then expectations should increase.

Even with the jet engines that Iran can currently produce, like the one used on the Kowsar, they should still be able to produce something decent. Sure a Rolls Royce engine would be preferable but I mean imagine an aerodynamic drone with Iranian jet engines. It will still be pretty maneuverable and more formidable than anything Iran has now.

If I were to guess, I would say that Iran is probably, at the very least, conducting experiments with such models. Only time will tell. It might even be years before we see something like that revealed. Hopefully sooner than later.

I think the one in blue is supposed to be S-149. Just slight visual inaccuracy but largely the same.

I doubt it's supposed to be a Shahed-149 (Gaza) since this poster only seems to show UAVs operated by the Iranian Army, rather than the IRGC, and thus also no Shahed-129 is visible.

Major problem with these will be threat from electronic warfare systems.EW systems can blind these systems.

I do not know about Iran but in Indo-Pak theater,EW systems have played vital roles in all wars.

Complete artificial autonomy will be required for these unmanned fighter jets and on top of that EW systems will become more dangerous in future.

So lets see whats the future of these unmanned systems in aerial combats.
Only future will tell.
