Iranian UAVs | News and Discussions

oh man, it seems Iran intelligence really do not want something to be moved in to IRAQ

"at least three times in the past two months" Iran-backed militias in Iraq have launched small, explosive-laden drone attacks, targeting CIA and U.S. Special Operations units. Three days after Ayn al-Asad incident, another drone struck just after midnight at an airfield in Harir, north of Erbil, that is used by the U.S. military’s Joint Special Operations Command.

Drones (alongside UAVs) have really changed the nature of conflict - both low intensity and high intensity - and Iran is one of the countries leading the way in this.

Not so effective against the rebels in Syria.
Or may be Iran didn't utilise them in big numbers to achieve the desired results.

Shahed az ghib resid

"reportedly due to make its first flight in the coming weeks."

The design seems very similar to Iran’s Shahed 191 flying wing drone.

Very early in the product development process. The “prototype “ is more like a downscaled proof of concept with plywood structure. Still, all efforts, however how small, matter and they should keep hammering! Soon enough they’ll get there!

This is what is shown. Who knows were the project is currently?

1. Patriot radar stationed in US base of Ain Al-Asad in Iraq has been destroyed by anonymous suicide drone two weeks ago.

2. US announced to remove it's missile air defense system from middle east 3 days ago.

I would like to add a period, Obama style!
