the entire Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) region is 30-40km across from east to west. If you do the math, air defense systems could easily be launched from Armenian territory and hit their target.
The Azerbaijani's claim that they successfully destroyed an S-300 battery however they have not been able to show any evidence to validate this claim.
Keep in mind, they Azerbaijanis have shown off UAV footage of trucks being destroyed, but not the S-300 ? In my opinion it's pretty unlikely.
The OSA's were mostly destroyed in the initial phase when the Azerbaijani's saturated the air with a combination of loitering munitions (Harops), TB2s, other older drones and even unmanned AN-2 UAVs.
The Armenians have so far claimed well over Azeri 100 UAVs, loitering munitions, aircrafts, helicopters shot down.
Again the Azerbaijanis are very anxious to show off any evidence they can get their hands on as a trophy. So anxious that recently they showed off a downed Harop UAV and claimed it to be an Armenian UAV. So then the question is, who shot it down ? The Armenians or the Azerbaijanis themselves in their own airspace ?
The Azerbaijanis also accidentally released UAV footage showing the destruction of wooden Armenian decoys and UAV footage showing near misses on targets.
Aside from all that the Azerbaijanis have been caught FAKING evidence and recycling evidence on multiple occasions already.
At the start the Azerbaijanis were constantly releasing videos with dozens of UAV strikes, however it gradually slowed down to a trickle, along with recycled footage, reconnaissance footage which didn't even show the moment of impact and footage showing the same strike from various angles.
Now during the last few days we've barely seen anything. You can decide for yourself but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see what's going on here.
Btw this website shows all verified claims of lost equipment based on photo / video evidence.

According to this website, the Azerbaijani side has lost 37% while the Armenians have lost the rest. However keep in mind that the Azerbaijani side seems to be alot more enthusiastic when it comes to showing off "evidence'. The website is not meant to be a definitive source on any conflict but rather it shows the viewer a glimpse of what is going on in the field.
These are the Armenian claims for your reference. The Azerbaijani army numbers 50,000, so even if half these claims are true, it's quite devastating for the Azerbaijanis.
I don’t think any drone was shot down because simply Armenia doesn’t have Good ADs in Nagorno-Karabakh. They have some old OSAs which can’t do shit against these drones. Their good AD is placed inside armenia, I mean Tor systems and buk.
