It is a ballistic missile test. Iran has no intention of placing a satellite. I don't think Iran has the technology to place a satellite in an orbit at all. It is just Indirect missile testingHow long will this satellite stay in orbit ? Any specs ? I guess not since it's secretive. I'm guessing the communication method must use some kind of encryption ?
They need to launch several more into space. One is merely good as a test bed.
Does this mean that Iran's missiles can use signals from this satellite or potentially from other similar satellites in the near future to hit targets ?
Or would that be too risky since considering the fact that in case of war the communication can be intercepted, jammed, hacked by powerful nations. After all Iran's missiles are already so accurate with their onboard sensors and software.
I hope we see many more successive, successful launches in the near future.

lol actually he is slowly backing from his previous ludicrous statements that Iran does not have satellite launching capabilities. Now he is saying that he "doesn't think" Iran has satellite launching capabilities. Once a joker, always a joker!LOL ... don't say something that will turn out to be false soon !
That's what stupid people do ...

Which country do u belong?? India??I said that Iran doesn't have satellite launching capabilities till the time the statement was made. Again, I have been telling for sometime that Iran can't make high speed solid fuel ballistic missile with high accuracy due to lack of computer chips. Nevertheless, satellites were launched in 1950s when there was no computer chips. So, Iran can launch satellites with lot of effort but solid fuel accurate missile of long range is impossible

The third stage is Arash gimbeled vehicle, shown above... which indicates that this can be used as an anti satellite missile also...

Previously they launched, with that size its easier to launch from a TEL. Others may think its rrlated to IRBM/ICBM testing with TELNote that the SLV was launched from a mobile TEL. Very important detail.
Any more info about the nature of the payload? What kind of "military satellite" is it?
