Iranian Nuclear Technology and Industry (technical only... non-political)

I guess Iran's civilian nuclear industry will be busy building some of the reactors and manufacturing nuclear fuel for these plants . Those IR6 centrifuges will be very busy !!:azn:

Iran building up to 20 Nuclear power plants
  • Iran has said it wants to build a network of nuclear power plants with a capacity of 20,000 megawatts to enable it to export more of its bountiful oil and gas.(Note the current Bushehr reactor generates 1000 megawatts).
  • 17,000 megawatts already approved for next year budget.

Regardless of what happens with the nuclear deal Iran should go ahead with civilian nuclear power generation. Zionists aren't going to be too happy about this but honest who cares.

Iran should by law make any future nuclear reactor purchases [such as the hualong one, perhaps?] conditional on the supply of a production license, plus any relevant tot,for local production of the fuel assemblies.

fully agree..I think The Iran's Atomic Energy should focus the research and development to the design of "naturally safe" reactors..This will be the trend and Iran has all the necessary technical knowhow to design such reactors from ground zero but of course any TOT will fast tracking that process..

Thanks to @Sineva for posting the report... WOW..The new very deep under the mountain facility being built in NATAZ is so large that can accomodate Iran's new Centrifuge assembly plant in addition to an advanced enrichment plant populated with IR-6 machines... a three entrance tunnel system complex.

Kinda impossible but all our nuclear infrastructure needs to go under heavily fortified mountains, out of reach of any man made bomb.

This is a chance to pay tribute to the Iranian nuclear scientists and technicians that have created the technology that is described in this thread. Also to remember the Iranian nuclear scientists that were murdered by the enemy .
  • Masoud Alimohammadi
  • Majid Shahriari
  • Darioush Rezaeinejad
  • Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan
  • Mohsen Fakhrizadeh
and
  • Fereydoon Abbasi-Davani who was wounded
Their names and their cars are now part of Iranian History.

A big step towards producing domestic nuclear fuel for the upcoming new nuclear power plants under construction
Iran to boost Yellow cake production 10 fold.

Yellow cake production will be increased from the current 140 tons to 1400 tons.

Pak is planning 32 nuclear reactors...Who is going to give them Fuel...My suggestion Iran.:azn:..Iran needs to expand her nuclear fuel production facilities ..All around Iran they are building nuclear reactors, Saud, Turks..Iran is the only one that has fuel production capability

Pakistan plans 40,000MW nuclear energy by 2050 to meet electricity demands

The 1100MW unit K-3 of Karachi nuclear power plant recently became operational

Iran can't produce enough fuel for our own nuclear reactors and you want to now provide enriched uranium for 32 nuclear reactors of Pakistan too? (Assuming that they will go with their plans and construct them).

Did you know that Pakistan has a higher SWU than Iran right now?

Forget about the JCPOA and extreme limits imposed on our nuclear program by P5+1 (an agreement waiting to be revived soon unfortunately), where do you want to get the natural uranium from? Russia has Kazakhstan and its own incredibly vast lands. The US and European countries have their colonies and their own reserves. Our uranium reserves are enough only for our own nuclear program and for about 30 years at most. We don't have enough uranium in Iran to become a major exporter.

Saudis have their mind set on uranium enrichment. The US may eventually allow them to do it if a clown like Trump gets elected again. Trump shared too much sensitive information with the Saudis when he was the POTUS to the point that even the American experts were worried about the transfer of nuclear technology and knowledge to the Saudis.

PAK plan is for 2050..lots will change by then...I did consider Iran reserves..we can import from Africa...no need to use Iran's uranium reserves...Iran will by then have plenty of Enrichment horsepower..this is not something I was talking for immidiate future..I am building on the original concept of Iran becoming g an Energy hub..we have oil..we have gas and we have nuclear fuel...let's go world..come over for your energy needs...by the way we have solar and wind too..lol

And why would Pakistan buy enriched uranium from us if we ourselves plan to import natural uranium from abroad and at this very moment, they have a higher SWU than us, they are working on the fourth generation of their centrifuges, and even the fifth generation, and they have no public restrictions on their nuclear program like we do now? It makes no sense.

Plus, purchasing natural uranium from abroad is possible and Ahmadinejad did have plans for it, particularly by expanding our ties with Zimbabwe and maybe covertly with South Africa. But it will be hard to protect your interests in Africa when bigger colonial powers have their claws deep into the continent for centuries and can always spend more than you there. So, nope. It won't be that easy.

Your information is incorrect: Iran has large Uranium reserves. Please share better source if you have one:

Note, many years ago public sources did in fact mention the dearth of reserves. Whether that was propaganda or inaccurate info or not up to date mining data, it is no longer the case.

Also, reminder, this thread is designed to be devoid of editorials. Please adhere to that and/or ignore those that don't.

Define large. Australia, Kazakhstan and Canada have large reserves of uranium. How much uranium does Iran have? Any number below 100,000 tonnes is not impressive.

@QWECXZ ,@jauk ..Gents...my point of putting the Pak Reactors was just to demonstrate the viability of the Iran's original Nuclear industry goals.. which was..an "Industrial scale fuel production"..if not pakistan well many others in the area need the fuel..so It is something that when all this JCPOA filth is over and Iran's file goes back to "normal" the country should go back to....Iran can be a Hub for all type fuels....World needs more and more fuel and Iran can be the "one stop shopping" for all types..:undecided:
