Iranian military engine development news and updates

and how much power that laser is supposed to need

Excuse me are you saying building a tank that can fire a laser so powerful it eliminates other tanks and blows holes in buildings?

Did you just walk out of a Star Wars movie sir?

Great! The test i build in works perfect! :)

What about bernoulli?

Edit:

Answer: Bernoulli has nothing to do with flying objects.

i think the idea of flying tank is not economically accepted especially comparing it's benefits which are really small.
but the idea of using laser at an areal vehicle is interesting. if you by any chance visited Turkish laser section in the forum, you can see a man portable laser attached at their mpt-76 battle rifle with penetration range of 150 m, 30 minutes duration of unceasingly illumination and penetration rate of 2-3 cm.
yeah i know you might think it's a crappy specifications for a attachment of a rifle but what if we arm our quad copter drones with them?? it suddenly makes sense.
it can penetrate inside of a tank Armour and case the rounds stored in back of tank to explode. do the same to munition stockpiles, cause enemy vehicles to burn, etc.
and more interesting than all of these is plasma rail gun, in this particular weapon your projectile is plasma, your rate of fire is between 100-1000 RPM. however it's weight will be heavy and it will need a power source makes it suitable for vehicles like tanks or APCs.

1.) Flying tanks have a lot advantages over ground based tanks (mines or undriveable obstacles ect.).
2.) Lasers are future weapon
3.) Plasmacannons today, for example build as prototype by Rheinmetall, have some design flaws cause the developers still think in "normal tank gun". There are a lot better solutions, using the air as plasma to bring the APFSDS to velocities grater 2000m/s.

well my friend the main factor in tank design is it's amour and usually it translates to more weight and weight is something that fling vehicles try to get rid of it. as you see there are many boundaries that are not clear if they define a tank, a helicopter, a plane or a simple recon vehicle in this concept.
about plasma rail guns and lasers i'm all into it, they are future. some people here might think that by 20 years later the face of threats remains the same as today but the truth is it will be different and full of hyper sonic munitions, lasers, plasma guns and artificial intelligence, so it's better to start now and develop ours.

Well my friend, all you need is read and do a search for chinese graphene armor.

The TJ-HP1 would be nice to build some Coanda Aerodyne.

Edit:

For example to replace groundbased tanks and their disadvantages. Just build Coanda Aerodyne with graphene armor (the one the chinese experiment with) on the down side and a gun (or laser) on top.

Maybe this one can help you too to understand the comming developments

But if interestet in, let do a new Thread and let this threat to the topic.

Just to show Plasmacannon design of Rheinmetall. Really lots of blinker ideas. https://patents.google.com/patent/EP0338458B1/en

This ramjet is too small for something like Iranian P-800.
It might just be a technology demonstrator. Hopefully they have larger ones in the work.
i mostly think of something like this:
Perseus-mbda.jpg

the pro is not it's warhead but it's stealth and speed.

Iran needs to hurry up with these development. The major powers are going towards hypersonic systems which are game changers. Iran cannot fall behind too much.

i guess Iran can put together a HGV in next few years. but this one i mentioned actually can be a good and cheap replacement for air and ship borne cruise missiles.

I am praying for that bro.
Iran needs to work on: Glide systems, hypersonic scramjets and wave-rider systems.

Iran doesn't even have a supersonic GV yet, doubtful in a few years HGV will be a reality.

Ramjet is old stuff from over 80 years ago. Scramjet is also old stuff. I see no problem for Iran to build that. Even US has finished...uh, no, they dont....
